Lisbon Sport Film Festival (LSFF) 2023
The 2023 edition of the Lisbon Sport Film Festival (LSFF) – International FICTS Festival will be held in a hybrid format. The sessions will take place on the 28th and 29th of October at Forum Lisboa for the presentation of films awarded by the official jury of the 2023 edition, extra-competition films and conferences with the presence of directors and personalities from the world of sport.
Preceding the face-to-face sessions, the films will be available from October 18th to October 27th on the festival's website, in online screening, the entire competitive exhibition.
ORGANIZATION
UESPT-Portugal is a permanent representation of the Union Européenne Sport pour Tous. UESPT is a European Platform for the promotion and development of Sport for All, a Federation created in 1998 by a group of European citizens that values the democratization of sport and access for all to sport. The Lisbon Sport Film Festival is associated with FICTS and CINEFOOT.
FICTS, based in Milan, brings together the most prestigious sports film festivals in the world, based in countries such as Italy, China, Nepal, France, Holland, Spain, Uganda, Mexico, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Argentina, Iran and Brazil, with the Lisbon Sport Film Festival being part of this select international circuit.
CINEFOOT – Football Film Festival is the first film festival in Brazil and a pioneer in Latin America with exclusive conceptual and curatorial approaches to football. The objective of the festival is to promote, disseminate, reflect on and value world football cinematography.

AWARD AWARDS
The Lisbon Sport Film Festival provides for the attribution of prizes to the best films by decision of the official Festival Jury and through public vote. The Jury will consist of 5 representatives appointed by UESPT, FICTS and CINEFOOT.
For each of the 3 Shows, respectively “Sports and Society”, “CINEFOOT Portugal” and “Lisbon Sport Film Festival -Television”, the official Jury of the Festival will award the Trophy – Lisbon Sport Film Festival 2023 – to the winners of the categories and may also award Honorable Mentions , if you so wish, not being mandatory to do so.
A Trophy will be offered – Lisbon Sport Film Festival to the work most voted by the public, in the short and feature film categories, between the “Desporto e Sociedade”, “CINEFOOT Portugal” and Lisbon Sport Film Festival – Television Shows”.
The “Sports seen by Young People” Exhibition will be awarded the SANTA CASA prize to be designated. The SANTA CASA prize will be awarded by the jury itself.
The results of the official Festival Jury and public vote will be announced during the Festival closing ceremony.
The decisions of the official Jury of the Festival and the public vote are sovereign and not subject to appeal.
The awarded films will be recommended by the LSFF Organizing Committee to the Organization of the 2023 edition of “Sport Movies & TV – Milano International FICTS Festival”, organized annually by the Federation Internationale Cinema Television Sportifs, representing the 5th edition (2023) of Lisbon Sport Film Festival, as the festival is part of the FICTS festival network. The same will happen with the Festival CINEFOOT BRASIL.
