The 2026 edition of the Lisbon Sport Film Festival (LSFF) – International FICTS Festival will be held in-person format. The sessions will take place from May 13 to 16, 2026 at Cine-Teatro Turim, in Benfica - Lisbon.
ORGANIZATION
UESPT-Portugal is a permanent representation of the Union Européenne Sport pour Tous. UESPT is a European Platform for the promotion and development of Sport for All, a Federation created in 1998 by a group of European citizens that values the democratization of sport and access for all to sport. The Lisbon Sport Film Festival is associated with FICTS and CINEFOOT.
FICTS, based in Milan, brings together the most prestigious sports film festivals in the world, based in countries such as Italy, China, Nepal, France, Holland, Spain, Uganda, Mexico, Serbia, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, Argentina, Iran and Brazil, with the Lisbon Sport Film Festival being part of this select international circuit.
CINEFOOT – Football Film Festival is the first film festival in Brazil and a pioneer in Latin America with exclusive conceptual and curatorial approaches to football. The objective of the festival is to promote, disseminate, reflect on and value world football cinematography.

The Festival Jury, composed of representatives appointed by UESPT PORTUGAL, FICTS, and CINEFOOT, will award:
- Lisbon Sport Film Festival 2026 Trophy for the best film in each of the three categories.
- Honorable Mentions may be awarded at the Jury's discretion.
Results will be announced during the Festival’s Closing Ceremony.
Outstanding films may be nominated for the “Sport Movies & TV – Milano International FICTS Festival 2026.
