Annually in November a weeklong film program invites the audience to a journey through the exciting world of current Queer Cinema. With about 15 long- and 20 short films the festival shows the funny, colourful, cheerful, musical, tragicomic, but also the pensive, dramatic, experimental and ructious sides of queer life. The festival, one of the oldest in its kind in Germany, has developed to become firmly established in the gay-lesbian festival scene. It is a member of QueerScope, an independent organization of german gay-lesbian festivals. The wish to offer the audience amusement and entertainment goes along with the ambition of the (most in voluntary service working) festival-team to build a forum for social committed, worth discussing and ambitious film culture. The festival program is completed by live events, discussions, film talks etc.
