The Power of Awareness Association presents the "My Own Path International Short Film Festival," organized to raise awareness about breast cancer's effects on individuals, families, and society, and to highlight the life-saving importance of early diagnosis through the power of cinema. Under the theme "One Short Film, One Hope," the festival invites filmmakers to tell real stories and hopeful journeys.Festival opens for applications on 15 April 2026. Deadline is 31 August 2026. Finalists will be announced on 15 September 2026. The festival takes place 22–24 October 2026 in Turkey.Films produced after 1 January 2024 are eligible. Open to anyone aged 18 or over. Special jury and sponsor awards may also be granted. Monetary prizes are transferred within three months of the festival. Unclaimed prizes become time-barred after one year.

Submitted films must not contain hate speech, discrimination, violence-inciting content, or scientifically false health information. The Festival Committee may disqualify non-compliant works at any stage; all jury decisions are final.
All intellectual property rights must belong to the participant or have proper written permissions. The festival holds a royalty-free right to use submitted films for promotion, screenings, and archival purposes. No copyright fee is paid for festival screenings.
AI tools are permitted only as auxiliary support; the original creative work must be human-based. All legal responsibility for IP violations arising from AI use remains with the participant.
Finalist films cannot be withdrawn from competition. The festival covers transport and accommodation for one representative per awarded film. These regulations are governed by Turkish Law; disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Ankara Courts.
