At IIFF, we believe films have the power to inspire, educate, and entertain people from all walks of life. IIFF is a platform where filmmakers showcase their work, connect with industry professionals, and reach a global audience. The festival is dedicated to celebrating the art of filmmaking and nurturing the creativity of emerging filmmakers Nationally and Internationally with Industry icons such as Faran Tahir who is the Brand Ambassador for IIFF. Faran Tahir is known for iconic roles like Captain Robau in Star Trek (2009), Raza in Iron Man (2008), President Patel in Elysium (2013), and as Javed in Escape Plan (2013) alongside Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

IIFF is a two day event that takes place every year in the heart of Pakistan and Turkey. The festival is open to short films of all genres and languages from filmmakers across the globe. Finalists and Winners receive rewards, partnership opportunities and a special invitation to the festival event held in Islamabad or Istanbul!

1. Film submissions must be with a minimum duration of 5 minutes and a maximum duration of 45 minutes, including credits.

2. The festival is open to all films from across the world.

3. Films produced after 2014 only are accepted.

4. Films containing explicit sexual content, racism, or intimate scenes will not be selected. Films crossing ethical boundaries, containing nudity and disrespecting religion shall not be included in the festival and will be disqualified.

5. Films in languages other than English must have English subtitles. Subtitles should be clear and properly synchronized.

6. Entry fees are non refundable.

7. Films should be submitted in MP4 or MOV and a minimum resolution of 1080p.

8. Selected films will be notified, announcements on social media platforms and via email will be made.

9. Filmmakers grant the festival the right to use excerpts from their film trailer for promotional purposes. Festival sponsors or partners may have their logos displayed during the event.

10. The festival may request a downloadable file.

11. The festival retains the right to reject entries that violate the rules.

12. The decision of the festival is final and shall not be challenged.

13. The Winners will be listed and promoted on the Official website of IIFF.

14. The submitter is responsible for the ownership, authenticity of the project. Submitted films must be the original work of the filmmaker.
