We love creating opportunities for our indie community to be seen, and heard.

We are very excited to kick-off the IFT Network International Film & Theater Festival!

The festival will celebrate the Independent Film & Theater community, with a focus on Independent Filmmakers and Independent Playwrights.

– PLAYWRIGHTS
Indie Playwrights with plays focused on Underrepresented Voices.

Stage Plays in the following categories:
Black Culture Stories
Indigenous Culture Stories
LGBTQ+ Stories
LatinX Culture Stories
Immersive plays
Experimental plays

Full Length Play (60 pages or more)
Short Play Comedy
Short Play Drama

We intend to award the following categories:
• Best Full Length Play Comedy
• Best Full Length Play Drama
• Best Short Play Comedy
• Best Short Play Drama
• Honorable Mentions

Script submissions have the option to request professional and detailed feedback from the IFT Network Development Team.

Prizes will be based on total entries:

• A professional staged reading. More details on this in late winter 2024.

• 2 Hour Script Development Session by the IFT Network Development Team

• A chance for inclusion in a theater production in 2025.

At IFT Network, WE LOVE FILMS!

It takes a village. Cost a fortune. IFT Network appreciates your cinematic accomplishments.

The best cinematic experiences will be rewarded with in-person events and screenings.

Films that are not English language should include appropriate subtitles.

We intend to award the following categories:

All selected films receive excellent marketing campaigns leading up to the festival.

Grand Prize will be based on total entries, with a chance for inclusion in a pre-festival cinema screening!
