  • What an awesome display of quality! Such a great festival and with corona going on, they had to revert to an online fest. Either way, they still showed up with quality content! Will be entering again when I can.

The professionalism of the International Christian Film & Music Festival staff is phenomenal. The depth of their faith and the diligent pursuit of making 2020 a memorable event was evident in the final analysis of the "on-line" event, which they were forced to substitute for the live event. It's hard to judge value, hospitality, and networking categories because Covid-19 made it a virtual event. But, we were well pleased and hope that 2021 allows ICFMF and the world to return to normal.

  • I realize that COVID 19 put everything into a loop. But I wanted to offer some constructive criticism. First I think you guys put on an awesome virtual fest, all things considered. It still was done with quality and I know you guys were doing your best!

Nevertheless, I was disappointed with the communication, especially in the area of asking for permission to stream our films. This should've been made more clear to entrants IMO. I thought that I ALREADY gave permission once I entered my film. I wasn't aware that that didn't count when it came to streaming. And because of that, my film did not get to play during the fest even though it won best in its category.

Sadly, no one besides the judges were able to see it. And I tried to email ICFF to possibly fix this before the festival, to which I got no response.

Another thing I would suggest is to put more information about your official nominations. When I look at the nominations, I see very little information about who created the projects or the people behind them. There's not even a link to the projects or anything. It is important to filmmakers to have that information. Having that information would be nice.

Those are my thoughts. I hope they came off as constructive rather than negative. Anyways, thanks for all you guys do and thanks for putting on a solid festival!

    Response from festival:

    HI John,
    Thank you for your feedback.

It was extremely difficult to pull of what we did in such a short amount of time. We had over 250 projects on the site for people to enjoy and many have enjoyed it so I'm not sure how you were unable to watch them.

In terms of communication, of course it can always be better. We communicate in various ways including email blasts, social media and even phone calls. Some people say that the've received too many emails from us (if you can believe that). We really try our best to find the balance of sending out the correct information in different ways without spamming anyone.
