An international film festival to be held in Fukuoka, Japan, based on the concept of “Everyone can be happy by watching, making, talking, and connecting with films.

With Director Hirokazu Kore-eda (not a member of the jury) as the festival's executive advisor, we will expand and discover the possibilities of film as we connect with many people and build the festival.

※The Grand Prize, Audience Award, Jury Award, Screenplay Award and Actor Award will be selected for all ages.

Winning films (10-15 films) will be screened officially at the festival.
If the winning films are subtitled in English, Japanese subtitles will be required for screening at the festival.
Awards will be presented at the festival or online.

(1)The length of the film must be within 20 minutes.
(2) Applicants may be professionals or amateurs. 
(3) Non-Japanese films must have Japanese or English subtitles.
(4) Films must have been produced in the last two years.
(5) Films must not have been released in theaters or distributed online.
(6) One film per director may be entered.
(7) The Festival reserves the right to change the date of the event.

Finalists will receive detailed instructions regarding the screening date, venue, file format, promotional materials, and submission of scripts for Japanese subtitling.

Copyrights
1. the copyright of the submitted works belongs to the creators. However, the creators of the films selected for the final screening will be deemed to have given prior permission for the Executive Committee to use their works in PR activities for the Festival (screening at the Festival, publicizing on the official website and SNS, providing materials to various media, producing pamphlets, etc.).

2. The submitted work must not infringe on the copyright, trademark, design right, portrait right, or any other rights of any third party.

3. If the copyright or other rights to the submitted work are to be transferred to a third party, the transfer agreement must include the provisions of “1” above.
4. If the submitted work is a joint work or is managed by multiple right holders, the rights must belong to the representative of the entrant or the representative must be able to handle the rights.

5. the entry work must have obtained permission to use and photograph all images and music used in the work, as well as all other copyrighted materials. If it is found that a film has not been processed as described above, it will not be allowed to be screened at the Festival.
6. The Festival will not be held responsible for any problems that may arise regarding the use of copyrighted materials.
