* Before submitting, please note that this is a Palestinian film festival. If your film does not relate to this theme, it will automatically be rejected.

Free Palestine International Film Festival will be held with the aim of presenting the true image of Palestine – its people, history, culture, society, and lifestyle –. The festival intends to be a platform to gather the views, ideas, and artistic achievements of filmmakers and human rights activists about Palestinian people.

The Free Palestine International Film Festival aims to showcase the faith, hope and the resilience, and invincible lifestyle of the people of Palestine and Gaza, along with their ideal of "Free Palestine".

We accept short films, documentary films, and social media content on subjects such as struggles and resistance, daily life, policies, exclusions and restrictions, fears, and hopes. Films can be made by Palestinian filmmakers or non-Palestinian filmmakers with films related to Palestine.

* Special Jury Award in Documentary Section (Honorary diploma, and cash prize)
* Best Social Media Content (Festival trophy, honorary diploma, and cash prize)
* Special Jury Award in Social Media Content Section (Honorary diploma, and cash prize)

Cash prize will be given at our discretion, to be announced at a later date (subject to sponsorship, etc.)

- Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway and include a working screener accessible via FilmFreeway in order to be considered.
- Feature documentaries are 60 minutes to 150 minutes. Mid-lengths are 40 minutes to 60 minutes, and Shorts are 40 minutes or shorter including all credits.
- Films in languages other than English will only be accepted with English subtitles.
- Films must have been completed after 1 January 2022.
- Each filmmaker can submit a maximum of 2 films, one for each of the different competition sections.
- All selected films will be screened during the festival.
- There is no festival premiere eligibility requirements.
- Stills and trailers of selected films may be shown on the Festival website and publicity/promo material including press releases, festival brochures and other materials.
- If you change your screener link, or the password connected to it, make sure to update this in your FilmFreeway entry and notify this by sending an email.
- No entry fee is needed.
