International animated short films, student, professional and amateur films, of any technique, made within the last 2 years, are accepted. Films should not be longer than 12 minutes and contain at least 50% animation. Non animated puppet films are also welcome. Live action films and films submitted to previous editions of FAFF are not accepted.
Submitting your film is free of charge. We only accept submissions on FilmFreeway. By submitting your film you declare to be the owner of the copyright of the film including the music and you give FluXus permission to screen you film on the date of the festival. FluXus can not be held responsible for any violation copyrights used by the participant.
If your film is selected we will need an unencrypted DCP of your film. You can send the DCP through FilmFreeway, Dropbox or WeTransfer. If your film is not in English or Dutch you should also provide English subtitles.
If your film is selected FAFF will provide the director of the film with free entrance to the festival. Unfortunately we're not able to reimburse travel expenses. We're also able to provide accommodation for a selected amount of foreign directors.
