ELIGIBILITY
• Film Types: We welcome submissions for Released Films, Unreleased Projects, and Independent Cinema.
Video & Audio Requirements
• Main Film File: High-quality MP4 or MOV (H.264/H.265). Resolution must be 1920x1080 (Full HD) or 4K.Subtitles: Burned-in English subtitles or a separate .SRT file (Required for all non-English films).Audio: Clear stereo mix (or 5.1 Surround). Ensure no "sync" issues between audio and video.Creative Assets (For Recognition)
• Film Poster: High-resolution vertical poster (JPEG/PNG format).Director’s Bio & Photo: A short paragraph about your journey and a professional headshot.Behind-the-Scenes (BTS): If you have making videos and photos send to us for our social media useLogline: A 1-2 sentence "hook" that explains your story quickly.Legal & Verification Documents
• Censor Certificate: A copy of your CBFC certificate (if the film has been officially censored).Proof of Rights: Confirmation that you own the music, script, and footage (prevents copyright disqualification).Technical Delivery
• Secure Link: A password-protected Vimeo link or through your FilmFreeway project page.THE SPECIALIZED JURY SYSTEM
To ensure the vision of Honest way, the selection process is handled exclusively by industry experts
Two-Phase Selection:
• Nomination Phase: The Jury reviews all registered submissions to select the "Official Nominees" based on technical and creative excellence.Final Selection: The same panel conducts a second, deeper review to determine the winner of each category.INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & ETHICS
• Ownership: The filmmaker must hold 100% of the rights (Script, Music, Visuals). The festival is not liable for any copyright disputes.Promotional Use: The festival reserves the right to use posters and up to 2 minutes of footage from nominated films for the social media announcements.RECOGNITION & AWARDS
• Secure Link: A password-protected Vimeo link or Film freewayOfficial Recognition: Every official selection will receive a digital certificate of recognition,Winner Announcements: The final winners will be officially announced on our website and across all our social media platforms. Following the announcement, winners will be awarded their Official Winner Laurels and Digital Certification via email to celebrate and promote their achievement.OUR VISION
More Prestige: Awards decided only by industry peers are often seen as more "prestigious" by the winners.
Focus on Quality: Since there is no public vote, even a very small independent film has an equal chance of winning against a big movie if the craft is superior.
