  • Whilst it was an honour to receive an award for this festival and to meet the organiser who was very warm and friendly, I was let down by the fact there was no reception organised. This meant no chance to network with other film makers. The quality of the other films were high so it's a great shame. As it stands it may be incorrect to describe this event as a 'festival' . It was just a screening, then everyone left.
It doesn't take much to organise one drink in the bar, take photos and optimise the evening for the brand and for participants socials etc.

Just got back from attending the London International Short Film Festival where my film won best film of the festival! It was such an honor to attend and to receive this award. The festival was a memorable one and the directors of the festivals very helpful and communicative.
