KickOff International Film Festival

KICK-OFF INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, an independent film festival created in 2021, originally known as Kinogram International Film Festival, is entering its fourth year. It is an event where creativity, emotion, narrative, and diversity come together to create unique film experiences. The festival takes the form of a competition, allowing feature-length films (31-130 minutes), short films (3-30 minutes) and this year, documentaries, dance and lgbt+ films to participate. In addition, in a separate category, the jury will judge film music submissions. The festival is open to professionals, film students and amateurs, placing no restrictions on film genre or filmmaking technique. "The ideal film for the Kick-Off International Film Festival should stand out with a unique and interesting story, convey an important message, and depict fascinating characters or situations" says the founder of the festival, Anna Zoll. The fourth edition of the Kick-Off International Film Festival will begin on 24 kwietnia 2024 and will culminate with an awards ceremony on 24 November 2024 in Warsaw, Poland. The jury for this yea's edition includes Kasia Adamik, Fabio Canino, Fiorenza D'Alessandro, Dariusz Jabłoński, Piotr Jaxa, Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, Magdalena Łazarkiewicz and more prominent film industry professionals. The 2024 edition of the Kick-Off International Film Festival will mark its international character by presenting foreign editions for the first time. In addition to Warsaw, the festival will also take place in Rome and Tashkent, expanding its global impact.
APPLICATIONS
We welcome submissions from everyone - professionals, students, and amateurs alike - anyone can make an interesting film and submit it to KIFF. The ideal film for the Kick-Off is one that has a good, interesting story, a message to the world, shows an exceptional person or situation, draws attention to important topics or raises awareness about freedom and equality. The videos must be of good quality, but do not have to be shot with professional equipment - any technique is possible.
A first selection by film influencers will determine the TOP10, from which the jury - made up of well-known and award-winning filmmakers and producers from both Poland and Italy - will choose the winners - the TOP3 from each category.
The Kick-Off Jury will award its prizes, and an audience award is also planned to be given during the TOP10 presentation November 22-23 2024 in Warsaw cinemas. The Kick-Off awards ceremony will take place on 24 November 2024 in Warsaw, Poland.
December 6-8 2024 presentation of TOP3 will take place in Roma.
