It also includes invitations to the Lift-Off Season Awards and opportunities to pitch your screenplay directly to our network of filmmakers, producers, and actors. Opening doors to both collaboration and valuable feedback.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗳 𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?

⭐ 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
You will be invited to create a pitch article and submit your screenplay to our networks "Writer's Room" a global online destination where all of our Lift-Off Filmmakers and producers can get the chance to review your project. From here you will then attend an online focus group where you will present this article and your project to the group.

⭐ 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (event date listed at submission – held monthly)
You’ll be invited to an online focus group alongside other filmmakers and screenwriters selected that month across our showcase categories on FilmFreeway. Here, you can share your work, invite attendees to read your script uploaded in the Writer’s Room, and begin building meaningful connections with those interested in collaborating. This has proven to be one of the most successful and rewarding aspects of our platform over the years.

⭐ 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 (Feb/Mar)
You will also be invited to all of our nomination screenings as a judge, if you wish to partake, happening at The John Barry Theatre, in the world-famous Pinewood Studios in Feb/March (date and times tbc).

The nomination screening attendance is also grouped on the same day with an in-person event at Pinewood centred around you and your work. Following a tour of the studios, we will discuss your career, the industry, and the various opportunities you face.

You will then be invited to our actual Season Awards, a black-tie event where we award the top-voted films from ALL of the Lift-Off city-based festivals and Showcases from the entire year. Not just a fancy event in a world-famous filmmaking location, but an exceptional night for networking and getting yourself inspired for the future that awaits you within the industry.
