rastro - documentary film festival

GENERAL ORGANIZATION OF THE FESTIVAL, REGISTRATION & OTHER INFORMATION

1 - the 1st Rastro - documentary film festival will take place in online form in June 2020, organized by três produz and sponsored by FAC;

2 - rastro os dedicated exclusively to documentaries, national and international, short or feature lenght;

3 - the festival will have a competitive programme for feature length films and a competitive programme for short films;

4 - the selected films will be exhibited on the festival's online platform in sessions programmed and disclosed beforehand.

5 - the titles of best short documentary and best feature lenght documentary will be given to the films selected through a voting system that will take place after each session.

6 - once the social distancing measures are lifted by the WHO and the brazilian Ministry of Health and it is safe for the population to reunite in places, the winners will be exhibited in Brasilia and adjacent cities of the Federal District.

7 - for the category of short documentary, films up to 30' will be accepted. For the category of feature length documentary, films from 60’ onwards will be accepted.

8 - the registration period will be from march 27th to april 17th, 2020;

9 - all registrations should be done through FilmFreeway;

10 - the selected movies shall send:
a digital file for a full HD online screening, minimum 25 bps
the dialogue list in portuguese, english or spanish
other information about the movie that the production might request;

11 - the files should be sent to the festival production by may 15th, 2020;

12 - the curating commission will be responsible for selecting the films and their choices will not be contested;

13 - since we are currently going through a global health crisis, the festival reserves the right to make modifications in the present regulation if necessary in order to execute the project.
