FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE DEL CINEMA DI SALERNO

𝟭. 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
The 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹, with its registered office in Salerno, at Via Portacatena n.° 51 - 84121 Salerno (SA), Tax Code 80046160653, was founded in 1946 by CINECLUB SALERNO. For several years, a non-profit Organizing Committee has been established to manage the annual Editions.

𝟮. 𝗢𝗕𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗜𝗠𝗦
Since its inception, the Salerno International Film Festival has been a competitive event for Italian and international productions, offering a continuous forum for discussion on the developments of world cinema.

The Festival assigns cinema an important social function, and its purpose is to constantly adapt its approach to the evolution of technologies and new "audiovisual" media.

The Festival fulfills its original task of film dissemination and literacy, consistent with its tradition, with a particular focus on independent works and technical-artistic innovation.

𝟯. 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘
The 79th Salerno International Film Festival will take place in the City of 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 from 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, at the 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲 – 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗼.

In addition to the Competitions for the various Film Sections, the Festival also features Reviews, Retrospectives and collateral activities (Exhibitions, Conferences, Round Tables, etc.), as a contribution to the dissemination of the History of Italian and International Cinema.

During the 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, awards will be presented to the winning films, and recognitions will be given to prominent figures in the artistic, social and cultural fields. The Awards Ceremony may also be divided into two specific evenings: one dedicated to “Specialized Cinematography” (documentaries, cartoons, etc.) and another dedicated to Feature Films and various recognitions.

The 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 of the films will take place at the Cine – Teatro Augusteo and will be scheduled at the discretion of the Festival Direction, based on the submission date of the films and their prior selection.
Both the collateral events and the awards ceremony will be streamed live on the Festival’s official social media channels.

The festival's 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 will be "𝗪𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲". Every era sends visions, background noises, distant echoes: waves that pass through us and speak to us even before they are understood. Some carry clear messages, others are distorted, ambiguous, elusive. But they all tell something about the world that is and the world that is to come.
What is the future communicating to us today?
What visions, themes, and narratives are already emerging in our present?
What do we perceive in a time marked by crisis, mutations, and hyper-technologies?
We invite authors and directors to capture, translate, and resonate with the waves coming from what is not yet.
Whether it's a near or distant future, collective or intimate; a dystopia, a hope, a question. We want to hear the beat of hidden stories, of faint signals, of innovative visions that will be the light of tomorrow.

𝟯.𝗕𝗜𝗦. 𝗩𝗢𝗗 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠
To broaden the distribution of submitted films, the Salerno International Film Festival provides 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗩𝗢𝗗 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱 𝘁𝗼 𝟯𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

During this period, 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 will be available for online 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, offering all participants an opportunity for visibility and the chance to compete for the Audience Award.

𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Uploaded films cannot be downloaded.

Filmmakers who do not wish to make their film available on the VOD platform may still enter the competition: their film will still be reviewed and evaluated by the official jury.

𝟭. 𝗢𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗭𝗭𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘
Il 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗱𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼, con sede legale in Salerno, alla via Portacatena n.° 51 - 84121 Salerno (SA), CF 80046160653, è stato fondato nel 1946 dal CINECLUB SALERNO e, da diversi anni, è stato creato un Comitato Organizzatore (senza scopo di lucro) che provvede alla realizzazione delle Edizioni annuali.

𝟮. 𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜 𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔̀
Il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno ha rappresentato, fin dalla sua nascita, una manifestazione competitiva per produzioni italiane ed internazionali, proponendo un continuo confronto sugli sviluppi della cinematografia mondiale.

Il Festival assegna al cinema un’importante funzione sociale e la sua finalità è quella di adeguare costantemente la propria linea all’evoluzione delle tecnologie e dei nuovi mezzi “audiovisivi”.

Il Festival assolve al suo compito originale di divulgazione ed alfabetizzazione cinematografica, coerentemente con la sua tradizione, con attenzione particolare alle opere indipendenti e all’innovazione tecnico-artistica.

𝟯. 𝗦𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗚𝗜𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗢
Il 79° Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno si svolgerà nella Città di 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼 dal 𝟮𝟰 𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟵 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 presso il 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲 - 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗼.

Il Festival, oltre ai Concorsi per le varie Sezioni Cinematografiche, propone anche Rassegne, Retrospettive ed attività collaterali (Mostre, Convegni, Tavole Rotonde, ecc.), quale contributo alla divulgazione della Storia del Cinema Italiano ed Internazionale.

Nella 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗮 del 𝟮𝟵 𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 verranno consegnati i premi ai film vincitori e i riconoscimenti a personalità di rilievo in campo artistico, sociale e culturale. La Cerimonia di Premiazione potrà essere anche suddivisa in due specifiche serate: una serata dedicata alla “Cinematografia Specializzata” (documentari, cartoon, ecc.) ed un’altra dedicata ai Film Lungometraggi e ai riconoscimenti vari.

La 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 dei film avverrà presso il Cine-Teatro Augusteo e sarà programmata a discrezione della Direzione del Festival, in ordine alla data d’iscrizione dei film ed alla loro previa selezione.
Sia gli eventi collaterali che la cerimonia di premiazione saranno trasmessi in streaming sui canali social del Festival.

Il 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮 del festival sarà “𝗢𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼”. Ogni epoca invia visioni, rumori di fondo, echi lontani: onde che ci attraversano e che ci parlano prima ancora di farsi comprendere. Alcune portano con sé messaggi limpidi, altre sono distorte, ambigue, inafferrabili. Ma tutte raccontano qualcosa del mondo che è e di quello che sta per venire.
Cosa ci comunica il futuro, oggi?
Quali visioni, temi e narrazioni si affacciano già sul nostro presente?
Cosa percepiamo in un tempo attraversato da crisi, mutazioni e iper-tecnologie?
Invitiamo autrici e autori a captare, tradurre, risuonare con le onde che giungono da ciò che ancora non è.
Che si tratti di un futuro prossimo o remoto, collettivo o intimo; di una distopia, una speranza, una domanda. Vogliamo ascoltare il battito di storie nascoste, di segnali deboli, di visioni innovative che domani saranno luce.

Per ampliare la diffusione delle opere inviate, il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno mette a disposizione una 𝗽𝗶𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝗩𝗢𝗗 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮, 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝟭𝟱 𝗮𝗹 𝟯𝟭 𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

In questo periodo saranno disponibili per la 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 e la 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 online 𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗶 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶 𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶, offrendo a tutti i partecipanti un’opportunità di visibilità e la possibilità di concorrere al Premio del Pubblico.

𝗟𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗲 𝗹𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲. I film caricati non saranno scaricabili.

Chi non desidera rendere disponibile la propria opera sulla piattaforma VOD potrà comunque partecipare al concorso: il film sarà ugualmente esaminato e valutato dalla giuria ufficiale.

Films will be selected by 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲, composed of 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀, who will evaluate each work's admission to the Competition. The committee's decision is final and unappealable.
The admitted films will then be submitted to a 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗝𝗨𝗥𝗬, which will award the following prizes. The Jury's decisions are final:

• 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 “𝗔𝗜 & 𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗔” 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗
For the film that best integrates new technologies into its narrative.

• 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 “𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗”
For the best film on an environmental theme.

• 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗬 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
If no film is deemed to excel above the others, the Category Trophy for that Section may not be awarded.
In each section, the Jury may also grant one or more awards for a film's special merits.

• 𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗙 𝗢𝗙 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗣𝗛𝗬 “𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗢 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗜”
for the overall best film.

Other awards will be assigned as follows:

• 𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗, presented by the 𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗝𝗨𝗥𝗬, which is composed of cinema enthusiasts. They will vote on the VOD platform between October 15 and 31 for one of the films available there.

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗, presented by a jury of journalism and media professionals.

I film saranno selezionati da un'𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 composta da 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗶 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗲 𝗱𝗮 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 che valuteranno, con decisione insindacabile, l’ammissione dell’opera stessa al Concorso.
Le opere ammesse saranno poi sottoposte al giudizio di una 𝗚𝗜𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔 che assegnerà, con decisione insindacabile:

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗢 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗘 “𝗔𝗜 & 𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗔”
Per il film che meglio integra nuove tecnologie nella narrazione

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗢 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗘 “𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗”
Per il miglior film a tema ambientale

• 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗢 𝗗𝗜 𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗚𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗦𝗘𝗭𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜
Se non ci fosse un film che eccelle su altri, il Trofeo di Categoria per la Sezione potrebbe non essere assegnato.
Per ogni sezione la Giuria potrà assegnare uno o più Premi per meriti particolari dell’opera.

• 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗙𝗘𝗢 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗙𝗢 𝗗𝗜 𝗦𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗡𝗢 “𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗔𝗭𝗜𝗢 𝗥𝗢𝗦𝗦𝗜”
per l’opera migliore in assoluto.

Altri premi saranno assegnati nei seguenti modi:

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗢 𝗗𝗘𝗟 𝗣𝗨𝗕𝗕𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗢 assegnato dalla 𝗚𝗜𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗔 𝗣𝗢𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗔𝗥𝗘, composta da persone appassionate di cinema e che voteranno sulla piattaforma VOD dal 15 al 31 ottobre, ad una tra le opere presenti sulla piattaforma VOD.

• 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗢 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗣𝗔, assegnato da una giuria composta da esperti del settore giornalistico.

𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
The Festival's Film Competitions are divided into various sections, namely:
1. Feature Films Section
2. Short Films Section
3. Television Fiction Section
4. Film Dossier Section
5. Cartoons Section
6. Commercials, Music Videos, and Smartphone Films Section
7. "VIDESCUOLA" Competition reserved for films made by students of all school levels.
8. "DISCOVERY CAMPANIA" Section. This section includes films (both documentaries and fiction) aimed at promoting places of social, cultural, and tourist interest in the Campania Region.
9. "THE LANGUAGE OF THE SEA/THE SEA TELLS" Section, for works (feature films, short films, or documentaries) that have THE SEA as their main setting.
10. "ECO-FILM" Competition: Feature films, short films, documentaries on environmental themes.
11. DOCUMENTARIES Competition
12. "CINEMA OF THE FUTURE" Competition: A section exclusively dedicated to short films made with artificial intelligence, deep learning, or through emerging production tools (smartphones, drones, AI).

𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗘 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
• Feature Films must have a minimum running time of 60’.
• Short Films must have a maximum running time of 30’.
• Animation Films have no running time limits.
• Documentaries have no running time limits.

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 (𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵) 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵.

𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦
Submission to the Festival's Competitions can only be done through the indicated platforms (FilmFreeway, Festhome).
For each film, a 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲 of €𝟮𝟱.𝟬𝟬 must be paid as a contribution to administrative costs. 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱.
The 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 for submission and sending of films to the Competitions is 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗦𝗨𝗕𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗗𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗢 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗣𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 (𝗛𝗗 𝗼𝗿 𝟰𝗸 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲, 𝗛𝟮𝟲𝟰 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗰, .𝗺𝗼𝘃 𝗼𝗿 .𝗺𝗽𝟰, 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝟮𝟬 𝗠𝗯𝗽𝘀), 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟬 𝗚𝗕, and the file download must be enabled until the end of the Festival, i.e., until November 30th, 2025.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴/𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺, which will be distributed online on the Festival's website and social media, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸'𝘀 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗶𝗻-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.

𝗢𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁.

An Artistic Committee, appointed by the Organization, will evaluate the submitted works and select those admitted for official in-person screening. The Committee's decision is unappealable.

𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦
1. In case of an incomplete submission form, admission to the Competition is decided at the unappealable discretion of the Festival's artistic direction.
2. Each participant may submit one or more works. The submission fee must be paid for each film submitted.
3. All submitted films will become part of the Salerno International Film Festival's archive and may be used for cultural, educational, etc., purposes for public and/or television screenings. Commercial use is excluded.
4. Award winners will be notified by the Festival organization via e-mail or telephone.
5. Participation in the competition implies unconditional acceptance of these regulations.
6. These regulations are written in Italian and English. In case of interpretative conflict, the Italian version shall prevail.
7. The final program of the event, containing the works admitted to the Competition, can be consulted before the start of the Event on the website: http://www.festivaldelcinema.it/
8. For any matter not covered by these regulations, the Festival Direction reserves the right to make decisions at its unappealable discretion.
9. In the event of disputes or controversies, the competent court shall be the Court of Salerno, which will decide based on the Italian text of these regulations.
10. The author or rights holder of the work, by submitting it to the Festival, guarantees that they hold all necessary rights for participation, including those for music, images, and any performances present.
11. The Organization is exempt from any liability arising from disputes by third parties concerning the rights of the work.
12. The author/rights holder authorizes the Organization, free of charge, to screen the work during the festival days and in any future promotional events related to the event, as well as to publish excerpts of the work (max 3 min) for promotional purposes on TV, web, social media, and in print.
13. The personal data provided by participants will be processed in accordance with the European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
14. The Data Controller is the Salerno International Film Festival.
15. The data will be used exclusively for purposes related to the organization, communication, and promotion of the Festival.
16. The data subject may at any time exercise the rights provided for in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability) by writing to iscrizione@festivaldelcinema.it
17. The data will not be communicated to third parties or disseminated, except for purposes related to the management of the event.
18. The Organization reserves the right to modify these regulations for reasons of force majeure or to improve the running of the event. Any changes will be promptly communicated on the official website.

I Concorsi Cinematografici del Festival sono suddivisi in varie sezioni e precisamente:
1. Sezione Lungometraggi
2. Sezione Cortometraggi
3. Sezione Fiction Televisiva
4. Sezione Film Dossier
5. Sezione Cartoons
6. Sezione Spot pubblicitari, Videoclip e Smartphone film
7. Concorso “VIDESCUOLA’ riservato ai filmati realizzati dagli studenti delle Scuole di ogni ordine e grado.
8. Sezione “DISCOVERY CAMPANIA”. A questa sezione partecipano filmati (sia documentari che fiction) che hanno lo scopo di valorizzare luoghi di interesse sociale, culturale e turistico della Regione Campania
9. Sezione “IL LINGUAGGIO DEL MARE/IL MARE RACCONTA” rivolta ad opere (lungometraggi, cortometraggi o documentari) che hanno come principale ambientazione IL MARE.
10. Concorso: “ECO FILM”
Lungometraggi, cortometraggi, documentari a tema ambientale
11. Concorso DOCUMENTARI
12. Concorso: “CINEMA DEL FUTURO”
Sezione dedicata esclusivamente a cortometraggi realizzati con intelligenza artificiale, deep learning o tramite strumenti di produzione emergenti (smartphone, droni, AI)

• I Lungometraggi devono avere una durata minima di 60’

𝗠𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔̀ 𝗗𝗜 𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘
L’iscrizione ai Concorsi del Festival potrà avvenire solo tramite le piattaforme indicate (FilmFreeway, Festhome).
Per ogni film si dovrà versare una 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗱𝗶 𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 di € 𝟮𝟱,𝟬𝟬 quale contributo alle spese di segreteria. 𝗡𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶 𝗶 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗮 𝗶𝗹 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗮 𝗱’𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲.
Il 𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼 per l’iscrizione e l’invio dei film ai Concorsi è fissato al 𝟯𝟬 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.

𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗢 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗠 𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗜 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗜

𝗨𝗻𝗮 𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗮𝗶 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗶 𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝗲̀ 𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝗹 𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝗱𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲.

Una Commissione Artistica, nominata dall’Organizzazione, valuterà le opere iscritte e selezionerà quelle ammesse alla proiezione ufficiale in sala. Il giudizio della Commissione è insindacabile.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗜𝗭𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗜 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜
1. In caso di richiesta incompleta d’iscrizione, l’ammissione al Concorso è decisa a insindacabile giudizio della direzione artistica del Festival.
2. Ogni partecipante può presentare una o più opere. La quota d’iscrizione deve essere versata per ogni film iscritto
3. Tutti i film iscritti faranno parte dell’archivio Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno e potranno essere utilizzate per fini culturali, didattici, ecc. per proiezioni pubbliche e/o televisive. È escluso l’utilizzo commerciale.
4. I Premiati saranno avvisati dall’organizzazione del Festival tramite e-mail o telefono.
5. La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione incondizionata del presente regolamento.
6. Il presente regolamento è redatto in italiano e in inglese. In caso di contrasto interpretativo, fa fede la versione italiana.
8. Il programma definitivo della manifestazione, contenente le opere ammesse al Concorso, potrà essere consultato prima dell’inizio della Manifestazione sul sito: http://www.festivaldelcinema.it/
9. Per quanto non previsto nel presente regolamento, la Direzione del Festival si riserva il diritto di prendere decisioni a suo insindacabile giudizio.
10. In caso di contestazioni o controversie sarà competente il Foro di Salerno che deciderà in base al testo in italiano del presente regolamento.
11. L'autore o il detentore dei diritti dell’opera, iscrivendola al Festival, garantisce di detenere tutti i diritti necessari per la partecipazione, compresi quelli musicali, d'immagine e delle performance eventualmente presenti.
12. L’Organizzazione è esonerata da ogni responsabilità derivante da contestazioni relative ai diritti dell’opera da parte di terzi.
13. L’autore/detentore dei diritti autorizza l’Organizzazione, a titolo gratuito, alla proiezione dell’opera durante le giornate del Festival e in eventuali eventi promozionali futuri legati alla manifestazione, nonché alla pubblicazione di estratti dell’opera (max 3 min) a fini promozionali su TV, web, social media e stampa.
14. I dati personali forniti dai partecipanti saranno trattati in conformità al Regolamento Europeo 2016/679 (GDPR).
15. Il Titolare del trattamento è il Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno.
16. I dati saranno utilizzati esclusivamente per finalità connesse all’organizzazione, alla comunicazione e alla promozione del Festival.
17. L’interessato può in qualsiasi momento esercitare i diritti previsti dagli articoli 15-22 del GDPR (accesso, rettifica, cancellazione, limitazione, opposizione, portabilità dei dati) scrivendo a iscrizione@festivaldelcinema.it
18. I dati non saranno comunicati a terzi né diffusi, salvo che per adempimenti connessi alla gestione dell’evento.
19. L’Organizzazione si riserva il diritto di modificare il presente regolamento per cause di forza maggiore o per migliorare lo svolgimento della manifestazione. Ogni modifica sarà tempestivamente comunicata sul sito ufficiale.
