Se establece el Premio al Mejor Guion de Cortometraje, dotado de 500,00€ y un trofeo.

El Festival Internacional de Cine Pequeño de Aspe, con el objeto de promover la creación de guiones de cortometrajes españoles organiza el concurso de guion con las siguientes bases de participación:
1. Participantes
Podrá participar en el concurso toda persona física, mayor de 18 años y de nacionalidad española.
2. Obras
El guion debe ser original e inédito y de temática libre. En el momento de la inscripción no deberá haberse convertido en obra audiovisual.
2.1 Obras por participante
Solo se admite un guion por participante.
2.2 Idioma
El guion debe estar escrito en castellano o valenciano. Los textos en lengua distinta deberán de acompañarse de su versión traducida a uno de los dos idiomas mencionados.
2.3 Extensión
La extensión máxima del guion literario se establece en quince páginas (sin contar la portada), formateadas según el estándar profesional. No se aceptan sinopsis, escaletas, tratamientos, etc.
3. Envío y plazo de inscripción
El plazo de inscripción se abre el día 1 de mayo de 2023 y se cerrará el día 31 de mayo de 2023.

Se debe adjuntar la siguiente documentación en PDF:
• El guion literario.
• La sinopsis argumental con una extensión máxima de una página.
• Una breve biofilmografía del autor o autora.
• Documento acreditativo sobre los derechos de autor (Registro de la Propiedad Intelectual o Safe Creative), que también podrá indicarse en la portada del guion.
• Opcionalmente se puede enviar cualquier otra documentación de apoyo: dossier, intención de la historia, diseño de personajes, storyboard, casting previsto, plan de financiación y explotación, etc.
Se recomienda adjuntar toda la documentación en un solo PDF, para ello se pueden utilizar herramientas como https://www.ilovepdf.com/es/unir_pdf.
4. Jurado
Un jurado designado por la organización del Festival Internacional de Cine Pequeño se encargará de leer todos los guiones presentados y de entre todos ellos, elegir el ganador.
5. Premio
Se establece el Premio al Mejor Guion de Cortometraje, dotado de 500,00€ y un trofeo. El fallo se hará oficial durante la ceremonia de clausura del 10º Festival Internacional de Cine Pequeño, el día 18 de agosto de 2023. La organización se pondrá en contacto con la ganadora o el ganador, previamente a dicha fecha, con el fin de facilitar su asistencia para la recogida del galardón. La no asistencia a la entrega de premios no implicará pérdida alguna sobre los derechos de cobro del premio.
5.1 Pago
El pago se efectuará al autor o autora de la obra.
La organización facilitará a los ganadores documentación que deberá ser devuelta, una vez cumplimentada, en el plazo de 10 días hábiles; esta documentación es imprescindible para el abono del premio. En caso de que esta documentación no se presente en plazo, se entenderá la renuncia por el ganador a la dotación económica del premio.
6. Derechos de autor
• Los guiones enviados a concurso no serán publicados ni total ni parcialmente por ningún medio digital o impreso y sus autores o autoras mantienen todos los derechos sobre su obra.
• El autor o autora del guion ganador mantiene todos los derechos sobre su obra. El festival no la cederá a terceros, ni la publicará total o parcialmente por ningún medio digital o impreso.
• El remitente se responsabiliza de que no existan derechos de terceros sobre la obra y será responsable de cualquier tipo de infracción relativa a los derechos de propiedad intelectual.
7. Realización del cortometraje
En el caso de que el guion premiado sea rodado, el cortometraje pasaría automáticamente a estar seleccionado en la sección oficial de la edición del festival correspondiente a la fecha de producción de la obra.
Al guion ganador se le enviará un archivo con el laurel de la distinción del premio y lo podrá incluir al inicio de los créditos del cortometraje.
8. Aceptación de las bases
La inscripción y envío de la obra supone la aceptación de las presentes bases.
9. Contra estas bases, su convocatoria y cuantos actos administrativos se deriven de la misma y de la actuación del tribunal, podrán los interesados impugnarlos en los casos y en la forma establecidos en la Ley 39/2015 de 1 de octubre del Procedimiento Administrativo Común.

The Festival Internacional de Cine Pequeño from Aspe, in order to promote the creation of scripts for Spanish short films, organizes the script contest with the following participation rules:
1. Contestants
Any natural person, over 18 years of age and of Spanish nationality may participate in the contest.
2. Works
The script must be original and unpublished and any topic. At the time of registration, it must not have become an audiovisual work.
2.1 Works per contestant
Only one script is allowed per contestant.
2.2 Language
The script must be written in Spanish or Valencian. Texts in a different language must be accompanied by their translated version into one of the two languages mentioned.
2.3 Extension
The maximum length of the script is established in fifteen pages (not counting the cover), formatted according to the professional standard. Synopsis, steep outline, treatments, etc. are not accepted.
3. Documentation and registration period
The registration period opens on May 1st, 2023 and will close on May 31st, 2023.

The following PDF documentation must be attached:
• The script.
• The plot synopsis with a maximum length of one page.
• A brief bio-filmography of the author.
• Document accrediting copyright (Intellectual Property Registry or Safe Creative), which may also be indicated on the cover of the script.
• Alternatively, you can send any other supporting documentation: dossier, the intention of the story, character design, storyboard, planned casting, financing and exploitation plan, etc.

4. Jury
A jury appointed by the organization of the Festival Internacional de Cine Pequeño will be in charge of reading all the scripts presented and choosing a winner from among them.
5. Award
The Award for the Best Short Film Script is established, endowed with 500,00€ and a trophy. The ruling will be made official during the closing ceremony of the 10th Festival Internacional de Cine Pequeño, on August 18th, 2023. The organization will contact the winner, prior to that date, in order to facilitate their assistance in collecting the award. Failure to attend the award ceremony won't imply any loss over the award payment rights.
5.1 Payment
Payment will be made to the author of the work.
The organization will provide the winners with documentation that must be returned, once completed, within 10 business days; This documentation is essential for payment of the prize. In case that this documentation is not submitted on time, it will be understood that the winner has waived the economic endowment of the prize.
6. Copyright
• The scripts sent to the contest won't be published in whole or in parts by any digital or printed means and their authors retain all rights to their work.
• The author of the winning script retains all rights to his/her work. The festival won't transfer the work to third parties, nor will it publish it totally or partially by any digital or printed means.
• The sender is responsible for the absence of third party rights to the work and will be responsible for any type of infringement related to intellectual property rights.
7. Making the short film
In the event that the winning script is shot, the short film will automatically be selected in the official section of the festival edition corresponding to the production date of the work.
A winning file will be sent to the winning script with the laurel of the award and can be included at the beginning of the short film credits.
8. Acceptance of the rules
The registration and submission of the work implies acceptance of these rules.
9. Against these rules, their announcement and how many administrative acts derive from it and from the actions of the jury, the interested parties may challenge them in the cases and in the manner established in Law 39/2015 of October 1 of the Common Administrative Procedure.
