is changing the way that people think of short films. We are looking for the very best short films that are entertaining and tell a story. The sort of short films that people want to watch. That make them laugh. Or cry. That shock and surprise. Our festival involves public cinema screenings at the Phoenix Cinema, London, the oldest working cinema in the UK (built in 1912) whose patrons include Mike Leigh, Ken Loach, Michael Palin and Mark Kermode. As well as screenings, the festival includes exclusive networking events including an opening night party by the Thames in central London, a filmmaker supper (for all selected films) and a closing party and awards event held at Stephen's House and Gardens that brings together investors, distributors, film producers and media professionals.

Whilst we are one of the fastest growing short film festivals in the world (400 entries in our first edition and 750+ in our second), we pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming to all filmmakers who attend from the 40+ countries who enter the festival.

I was thrilled that my film, 'The Last Laugh' won Best Actor at It's a great festival with a brilliantly warm, friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Jane and the team really care about short films and the people who make them. I would thoroughly recommend this festival.

Although I was unable to attend in person their communication was top notch! My experience with their networking (since I could not be there) was exclusively online and I picked up a lot of followers from my connection to them. Highly recommended and I really hope to attend their fest in person one day. Thanks!

We had such a great time at the festival ! We met incredible people and discovered so many different short films coming from all over the world ! Thank you for making this possible and to give us the opportunity to have our films projected on the big screen surrounded with passionate people. A unique and authentic festival.

Just loved this festival. Smart, passionate filming making pros behind this fest, and it shows in what they take seriously (the films and relationships with filmmakers) and what they don't take seriously (anything requiring fun). Very impressed.
