The International Random Film Festival is the first film festival in the world which celebrates randomness in cinema. Out of the submission 50 films are selected to compete each year. The festival is organised annually in a randomly selected location, on a random opening date. Awards are given out randomly.
The 5th edition of IRFF will take place in Gdynia, Poland (population: 249,139). The festival’s Opening Ceremony will be held on the 29th of October 2014. The location and date were selected at the end of the closing ceremony of our 2012 festival in Anija, Estonia by using the Random Geographic Coordinates Generator, and Random Number Generator at Random.org.
