    Clockmakers Dream

This is really is a fantastic festival to screen and attend. Not only state of the art cinemas for screenings that very well attended by both public and filmmakers but each night features a cultural night of food and drinks from the top local restaurants and bars which is free by the way, making a great opportunity to not only network but make friends. It is very well run, in orgainisation, communication and the staff including the volunteers are always accommodating and professional. They appreciate the short(s) filmmakers and the feature makers alike. If your'e film is lucky enough to get accepted be sure to attended and if not go anyway as you'll meet producers and contacts here far more than most of the other festivals. I can't recommend enough each screening is followed by Q and A for audience to meet the film makers. You will not be disappointed and Orange county is a beautiful spot easy to get form LA. We had a fantastic time at this festival and got to see real quality films, make contacts and new friends.

Well run festival in tony Newport Beach. Nice venues, parties, and great social scene. Well promoted and has great volunteer staff. Doesn't really attract agents or the Hollywood crowd you might expect, but well worth the trip. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to meet other indy filmmakers and hang out.

If executives/agents/buyers were more present this would be in the top 10 festivals in the US. Failing that aspect, NBFF is an amazing experience. Well funded, gorgeous location, amazing parties, top quality films and an incredible staff make this an annual repeat for me.
