Seoul Indie-AniFest (Seoul Independent Animation Festival) organized by KIAFA, the Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers' Association.
Indie-AniFest presents spectacular independent animated films from Korea and Asia.
The festival offers a diverse range of works and opportunities for filmmakers as well as a chance to interact with audiences.
We strive for the values of independence, experimentation, passion, and vision by working together with independent animation directors.

Rules & Terms

- ASIA ROAD films should be completed after January 2025 and never previously submitted to Seoul Indie-AniFest.
- MIRINAE ROAD films should be completed after August 2024 and never previously submitted to Seoul Indie-AniFest.
- Works were produced in Asian countries.
- If a film was produced by more than one country it must have at least one Asian country included.
- Non-English language films must have English subtitles or provide English scripts.
- The result of ASIA ROAD will be announced on 30 June 2026, and MIRINAE ROAD is 27 July 2026.
- 미리내로 공모는 2024년 8월 이후 제작 완료된, 러닝타임40분 이상의 애니메이션 작품을 대상으로 합니다.
- 미리내로 예선 심사 결과는 7월 27일, 서울인디애니페스트 공식 홈페이지 및 sns를 통해 확인하실 수 있습니다.
- 한국 작품 공모(독립보행/새벽비행/랜선비행)는 6월 15일 (월) ~ 6월 26일 (금)까지 진행됩니다.

    Thank you for selecting my film. One of the best festival I have attended. It is organised by animators and for the animators. For the first time I can truly feel the enthusiasm for the animation. People are awesome and friendly. Definitely submit if I have a new work.

    Easily the best festival I have attended. The programme is extremely inspiring (more so than the top tier festivals). They took care of hospitality right from the airport. The parties allow for great networking. Took care of many details in the screenings too.
