You can enter our fest, win some laurels and still keep your premiere status.

The Hollywood Verge Film Awards seeks to award outstanding independent films based upon their originality and ability to tell a compelling story.

The festival will provide nominees in each category along with a winner (or winners) per category. All nominees and winners receive laurels as well as Official Selection laurels for those selected to be in the competition. We also have genre categories, which increases the chance of winning.

What makes a Hollywood Verge film?

We love independent films. We love genuine storytelling that doesn't play by the rules. Though Hollywood is in our name, the festival really seeks films that say something and are alternatives to the 'Hollywood' style. We could care less about movies with big name actors. Production value doesn't matter as much as story and originality of vision.

We're coming off of a successful tenth season, with a world of enthusiasm and support for indie film and hope you wish to join us on this journey!

Rules:
-THERE ARE NO PUBLIC SCREENINGS OR EVENTS. The festival is an online awards festival only.
-WE ONLY ACCEPT ONLINE SCREENERS through FilmFreeway. We may request an additional direct link to your online screener, but is at our sole discretion.
-You may have multiple entries and submit to multiple categories.
-Each entry and submission category must have its on submission fee.
-Works in progress are accepted.
-Press kits are not required.
-Entry fees are non-refundable.
-Entries can be from any year.
-Festival may stop accepting new submissions at any point if demand is overwhelming.
