The Chinese American Film Festival (CAFF) and Chinese American TV Festival (CATF) are organized by EDI Media Inc. The goal of CAFF and CATF is to be a platform that brings leaders of the Chinese and American film and TV markets together for cultural exchange and more co-production opportunities.
CAFF is the only U.S. and Chinese Film and TV cultural event to receive letters of recognition signed by two U.S. Presidents: Barack Obama and George W. Bush. It is also the only Chinese and American film cultural event officially written in the U.S. Congress Report, making it the earliest film festival recorded as an achievement list in the China-U.S. high-level Cultural Exchange Activities as a national event.
From 2016 to 2025, CAFF was also the only film cultural event to be honored by Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles as an official month (November) and an official day (Opening Ceremony Day), respectively.
Every year, the festival holds panel conversations between guests from both countries, showcases, award ceremonies, and film screenings. The participants include executives from major Chinese studios such as China Film Group and Shanghai Film Group, top producers, directors, and more, in addition to chairmen and studio executives from major Hollywood studios such as Universal, Disney, Sony, Paramount, Warner Bros, etc.
We receive hundreds of entries from China and the U.S. every year. This would be your best opportunity to show off your work to film giants from both countries!
