I submitted a feature script to the festival and it was selected. Because the festival is only about a three hour drive, I decided to attend. Before attending, I had several questions. Sadly, it was nearly impossible to contact anyone, or to get resolution. Communication was terrible. I attended nonetheless. Once there, I went to several of the film showings. I was incredibly disappointed. In my estimation, a grand total of maybe 100 people attended. The screenwriting seminars were okay, but they were outdoors in the desert, so the few people present baked like eggs on a hot sidewalk. No bueno. I was not impressed.
