entertwine hosts an international Horror Film Festival that highlights the women of color who are actively contributing to the horror genre.
Why Horror for women of color?
Horror in the past has been limited to people of color and women. Films of the horror genre are stereotypical or limited at portraying this group of people. entertwine's International Horror Festival is the opportunity to break the mold and step into a genre that doesn’t normally see the artistry of people of color and women crafting this type of movie. This festival is here to show there are no limitations for women of color.
Originally structured as a 48-hour film festival, entertwine has expanded into accepting ready made shorts, with an homage to the 48-hour roots.
The top 10 films will be screened at Vidiots in Los Angeles
