We are doing a special ONE DAY short film/web series festival celebrating Black History Month with Museum of the African Diaspora and Google on one of their campuses in Northern California! A panel discussing creative arts and technology will be featured along with screenings, awards and a reception to close the events of the day. Join us in this exclusive event with one of the largest companies in the world!

The Everybody Digital Film Festival is an extension of the Everybody Digital app created by actor/writer/director Allen Maldonado ("The Last O.G.", "Black-ish", "Survivor's Remorse"). The app was created to help promote short form films and web series and to give filmmakers another organized platform to showcase all of the hard work they put into writing, shooting and completing their short films.

Our Mission:

The Everybody Digital Film Festival aims to shine a light on short filmmakers who are so often overlooked and under appreciated. We understand how much time, energy, money and passion goes into a short film and we want to recognize all of it and help share your work with as many people as possible. Our goal is to provide a platform not only for your film to shine but also for you as the filmmaker to shine just as bright. Through our events, we want to help not only promote you and your film but also provide an atmosphere where you can connect and celebrate with friends, family and other filmmakers.

Everybody Digital's Black History Month film festival was phenomenal. All of the films were stellar and very creative. I wish that there was a Best Documentary category but with that being said I was still proud to have my short doc, J.U.L.E.S selected to screen with all the other great films. The panel discussion was deep and I was inspired by all of the guest speakers. The Google headquarters was an experience all on its own! The Everybody Digital crew was inviting, encouraging and informative. I can't express how wonderful this experience was for me. The trip to San Francisco was worth it. (I traveled from Miami) I look forward to next year's festival.

Thanks to the Everybody Digital Film Festival, I had my first New York City premiere of a film I wrote, produced, and directed! To top it off, my short sci-fi drama, Rumination, received two award nominations: Best Short Film and Best Actor!

Traveling to Brooklyn, NYC for this festival was one of the best decisions and best experiences of 2018, hands down. I highly recommend filmmakers submitting their films. From the super fun opening night party, to the screenings/Q&A, to the awards ceremony, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! The staff was extremely friendly and I met several people I look forward to collaborating with in the near future!

I haven't been to very many festivals in their first year, but these folks have done an amazing job at making it feel like they've been doing it for a while. Great team and amazing folks came out who made this (somewhat) new filmmaker feel very welcome - very far from home. So glad I submitted. So glad I went!

    Response from festival:

Thanks for the amazing feedback, Jason - and we are so glad you felt welcome even being away from home!
