The Everybody Digital Film Festival is still riding high off our first year that went more successfully than we could have imagined! We were humbled and honored to have provided an atmosphere of a tight-knit family where we could not only share in each other's accomplishments but to also build a long-lasting community where friendships and business relationships continued well after the festival's end. Additionally, custom trophies were awarded for 8 categories and winners of Best Actor and Best Actress also won meetings with the Head of Development for NBC!

We are extremely excited for our 2nd year to build our community even more and give you the best possible experience as a filmmaker!

Our goal is to shine a light on short filmmakers who are so often overlooked and under appreciated. We understand how much time, energy, money and passion goes into a short film and we want to recognize all of it and help share your work with as many people as possible. Through our events, we want to provide a community where you can learn, grow and flourish while connecting and celebrating your accomplishments with friends, family and other filmmakers.

The Everybody Digital Film Festival is an extension of the Everybody Digital app created by actor/writer/director Allen Maldonado ("The Last O.G.", "Black-ish", "Survivor's Remorse"). The app was created to help promote short form films and web series and to give filmmakers another organized platform to showcase all of the work they put into writing, shooting and completing their short films.

One of the best festivals I've ever attended. Trizanne, Allen, and the rest of the team made us feel like superstars! It was a weekend of comaraderie and support from fellow filmmakers that left me feeling inspired. Can't believe that it's only their 2nd year. I can't wait to see what the future has in store! Thank you, Everybody Digital Film Festival. I'll definitely be back!

Thanks so much for joining us all the way from LA, Maurice! Your attendance and support is very much appreciated and we also look forward to having you be a part of a future festival!

  • Everybody Digital Film Festival was a great experience. The selection of films were quality, entertaining and thought-provoking, and I am very honored that they chose my film Acceptables, to screen amongst them.

Everyone was friendly and welcoming and as a filmmaker I felt appreciated. The opening night party was at a lovely space in Brooklyn. They had coasters made up with all of out film titles printed on them - which was such a thoughtful touch.

Allen Maldonado, even though he's a celebrity, does not act aloof or above it all. He interacted with us, took pictures with us and was at the opening night party and EVERY single film block. My film has screened at many festivals, and having experienced the founders of some larger festivals only caring about interacting with their celebrity friends in attendance and only going to the celebrity screenings - Allen was completely the opposite, and was a breath of fresh air. He was also a great host and conducted the Q&A after each block! What, you say? Yep, he sure did! He's very involved and you can tell he really cares about it. He's also funny as hell!

There was a great panel on diversity. There was free popcorn, and you got a ticket for 2 free drinks on each screening day. The filmmaker's passes were quality and nicely done, and we were allowed 1 guest with our pass. Between each block there was a brief intermission while filmmakers gave interviews, so you had time to meet and chat with each other.

Allen, Trizanne, Taylor, the entire squad . . . were friendly and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this festival! You won't be sorry.

  • Steven St. Pierre

I attended the first festival in Brooklyn and had the honor of being selected and attended the Black History Month edition in San Francisco.

In my opinion ED Festival is going to be a staple and the premiere festival for short films and digi-series! Allen Maldonado and his team puts on a great event, curates great quality content, makes everyone feel welcomed like family and has great partnerships that enhances the experience. Very impressive for a new festival! Excellent communication throughout and great networking opportunities.

Shout out to Alanna, Trizanne, Essentrick and the whole squad. Thank you for selecting my film "Corey".
