The Dubbing Glamour Film Festival takes its name in Portofino, after 7 editions since 2012, on the Ligurian coast, where the Mediterranean begins its long journey to other seas, other civilizations, other stories. From the Pillars of Hercules to India and beyond: this is the geographical and cultural horizon of our festival. How archetypes leave the screen and enter reality with the transition from myth to collective behavior — for a festival on the political function of the imaginary.
In 2026, in collaboration with Disney, the DGFF inaugurates its first international competition dedicated to directors — with particular attention to emerging voices: directors under 35, their first or second feature film or short film, and Italian directors over 35.
The project invests in the audiovisual sectors —cinema, TV series, dubbing, audiobooks, script adaptation and screenplay— with a large program of screenings, masterclasses, round tables and speed dates with productions. In partnership with Disney.
