Do Me A Lemon Comedy Film Festival is a newly-founded festival. This is a rare festival that is dedicated exclusively to funny films. The festival considers films of different types and lengths. We aim to support newcomer and emerging filmmakers who are working in the comedy genre. We would be really glad to see more student and debut films.

We are looking for outstanding comedy projects from all over the world. The festival struggles to present traditional and innovative modes of films. We like poetic, experimental, creative, provocative and traditional films with stark stories. Mostly we value films in which filmmakers are able to use humor in a serious time.

The festival will be in a hybrid format. The screenings take place in the oldest cinema theater in Saratov β€” β€œDom Kino”. It’s the building of the oldest film studio in the country which has existed since 1927. Now here is the cinema theater and the main host of many different festivals.

Usually festivals don't provide film reviews to filmmakers. But we would like to make an exception. Five films which will be thoroughly discussed by our programmer committee, but finally not selected for the festival, get short reviews. For an extra fee you can order a review or a festival strategy at any time.
