The filmmakers/submitters can submit their films online through our online film festival partner Filmfreeway, All genre films will be accepted. unproduced written screenplay are only accepted to unproduced screenplay category only. If screenplay (Written Screenplay) Category doesnโt appear or is disabled to accept entries on filmfreeway/our website that means we are not accepting screenplay in any form for current edition. Films can be submitted in more than one category, Filmmaker/Submitters submit more than one film in one or more different categories. We have no rule related to the production year or production budget that means the Filmmaker/Submitter can submit the film produced and completed in any year.

The submitter/filmmaker/institution will be the sole responsible for all the permissions and decisions on the behalf of all team (cast/crew) members, any third party interference can disqualify the film at any point of competition.

All selected films get the notification through email only. The festival has not published a full-length film without the submitter's permission, After the selection process completed to Officially Selected films of the edition we share a website link through email to all the submitters of DMOFF the link carries DMOFF Film Screening Contract, which will be considered as the express permission of the submitter to showcase the selected film. We need an online link of film or only trailer (submitter/filmmaker agree and comfortable to share) which can be embedded on the website, We are not uploading any film or trailer online on festival website or youtube/vimeo channel due to the copyright issues, Its solo submitterโs responsibility to provide online links (Which can be embedded on the website) and other required material and information. We send notification through email to all filmmakers, if the filmmaker decides not to show the film online or fail to sign the DMOFF Screening Agreement within the complete requirements we marked the film into a private screening, all private films are equally qualified for all the awards except Audiences Choice Award,(this award are only for online public screening films). A filmmaker can request to change or replace the online link of the full film with the trailer of the film anytime or vice versa.

The festival requires express permission from the submitter before publishing or screening any selected film. After selection, the festival team will contact the submitter via email and provide a Screening Agreement, which must be signed and returned. The signed agreement will be considered as the submitterโs express permission for the film to be featured or published on the festival website.
The submitter must provide a film or trailer link that can be embedded on the website. It is solely the submitterโs responsibility to respond to all festival communications and provide the required link within the given time frame.
If the festival does not receive any response or communication from the submitter within the specified period, the film will be considered a private submission, and it will not be published, screened, or promoted by the festival.

All the communications (notifications, any requirement emails etc) will be made by official festival email info@dmoffest.com, Kindly keep your email address uptodate with your submission applications. Check your spam box from time to time for communication . The festival will not be responsible if you fail to communicate on time.
Submitters can contact the festival within two days of the notification date (If the film is selected), if they get no communication with the festival. Its solo submitterโs responsibility to provide online links (Which can be embedded on the website) and other required material and information.

Screening will be held online on the festival website under respected editions. All selected films will be available on the website forever. The filmmaker (Submitter) can request to remove or replace the film link with the trailer or vice-versa anytime they want.

If a Submitter/filmmaker chooses not to have their film or trailer shared publicly on the festivalโs website or social media platforms, the submission will be treated as a private film. In such cases, the film will only be accessible to the festival jury for evaluation through a private screening using the submission link provided by the filmmaker.

If the filmmaker agrees to this arrangement, they must confirm by replying to the official email communication.

We accept written screenplay only through screenplay (un produced screenplay only). Please don't submit to any other category. It can disqualify the entry. All selected screenplays will get a comment of 200-350 words about the screenplay from the festival. The comment is about the screenplay and will help to improve the screenplay, festival decisions are final and no arguments will be entertained regarding the negative comment, all screenplay must be written in the English language. all selected screenplays will require full screenplay softcopy in pdf form. only synopsis and treatment are not acceptable and entry can be disqualified from the competition.

We accept all language films. films other than the English language must have English subtitles. Films other than English without subtitles can disqualify the entry.

After a film has been selected for the competition, the filmmaker will be notified via email only. The selected films will be published on the festival website. All films that are selected or nominated for the competition or festival will be informed only through email and will be eligible to be listed on the festival website. However, the festival requires express permission from the submitter before publishing the film. No inquiries or arguments will be entertained regarding non-selected films. The decision of the Selection Committee will be final.

All films submitted in the Critique Review category are directly entered into the core festival competition and are equally considered for competition. Once the competition begins, our review writing team evaluates the film. Reviews will be emailed to the submitter on the registered email address within 10 days of selection. Reviews will not be published online without the submitterโs permission. All non-English foreign language films must have English subtitles. Please do not use any discount code while submitting in this category; doing so may lead to disqualification of the entry or reclassification into another category.

Besides the core festival competition, DMOFF runs several online film competitions for officially selected films of the DMOFF; these competitions are free to enter. Each Competition is pre-announced. Festival Management has all the rights to qualify or disqualify any of the films from the competition section. We'll present Certificates to the winners of these Competitions.

By submitting your film to our festival you agree that your piece of work (full film, trailer) can be uploaded/embedded on our website. The submitter/filmmaker/institution that is submitting the film must own the copyrights to do so and is responsible for the content they are providing. By submitting, the filmmaker allows DMOFF to create a page for their film without infringing the copyright of any kind of form.Violation of copyrights can disqualify the film at any point in the competition.

The decision of the Festival Committee is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The decision of the jury members will be final and accepted by all; no inquiries or arguments will be entertained. The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes. The organizers also reserve the right to disqualify any film at any stage without any prior or public notice and without informing the submitter. The Festival Committee reserves the right to postpone or reschedule the festival program or deadlines without any prior or public notice. The Festival Director reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding the festival.

The applicant agrees to have read and accepted the rules & regulations for participation in the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival. The applicant confirms that he/she has the requisite authority or has obtained the requisite authority from the producer/copyright holder to enter this film in the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival and make available the print for screening. The Festival Committee reserves the right to change, update, or modify the rules of submission at any time without prior notice.It is solely the responsibility of the submitter/ filmmaker to review and understand the latest submission rules before submitting their film to the festival. Under NO circumstance, the authorities of the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival will not entertain or be answerable to anyone else apart from the Submitter.
