Il Diversamente Film Festival nasce dalla convinzione che il cinema sia uno degli strumenti culturali più potenti per generare cambiamento sociale, abbattere stereotipi e dare voce a narrazioni spesso invisibili.
Il Festival promuove una visione diversamente abile del cinema, in cui la disabilità non è limite ma risorsa narrativa, artistica e umana. L’obiettivo è favorire una rappresentazione autentica, rispettosa e plurale delle persone con disabilità, sia davanti che dietro la macchina da presa.

The Diversamente Film Festival was born from the belief that cinema is one of the most powerful cultural tools for generating social change, breaking down stereotypes, and giving voice to often invisible narratives.
The Festival promotes a diverse vision of cinema, in which disability is not a limitation but a narrative, artistic, and human resource. The goal is to foster authentic, respectful, and diverse representation of people with disabilities, both in front of and behind the camera.

Rules & Terms

Art. 1 – Oggetto
Il presente regolamento disciplina la partecipazione al Diversamente Film Festival, premio cinematografico dedicato ai cortometraggi che affrontano i temi della disabilità, dell’inclusione e della valorizzazione delle differenze.
Art. 2 – Ente promotore
Il Festival è promosso da K-Antares APS.
Art. 3 – Referente del progetto
Referente ufficiale del progetto è il Dott. Lorenzo Simonini.
Art. 4 – Partecipazione
La partecipazione al Festival è gratuita e aperta a produzioni nazionali e internazionali.
Art. 5 – Opere ammesse
Sono ammessi:
• cortometraggi di finzione
• documentari brevi
• opere sperimentali
• animazione
Non sono previsti limiti di genere o budget.
Art. 6 – Requisiti obbligatori
• Le opere possono, ma non devono necessariamente, trattare tematiche legate alla disabilità
• Sono ammesse opere con narrazioni universali o non tematiche, in cui la disabilità non sia elemento centrale della trama
• Almeno parte degli attori protagonisti e/o coprotagonisti deve essere composto da persone con disabilità
• Le opere devono garantire una rappresentazione rispettosa, autentica e non stereotipata
Questo articolo sancisce il principio di normalizzazione della presenza artistica delle persone con disabilità nel cinema.
Art. 7 – Selezione
Tutte le opere saranno sottoposte a un processo di selezione accurato e insindacabile.
Solo i cortometraggi ritenuti idonei dalla direzione artistica e/o dalla commissione di selezione saranno proiettati durante il Festival.
Art. 8 – Giuria
La valutazione finale sarà affidata a una giuria composta da professionisti del settore cinematografico, esperti di inclusione, artisti e rappresentanti del mondo culturale.
Art. 9 – Criteri di valutazione

• coerenza con i valori del Festival
• autenticità della rappresentazione
• originalità e impatto narrativo
Art. 10 – Premi
I premi non hanno valore economico ma culturale, simbolico e professionale.
Ai vincitori sarà assegnato un premio personalizzato.
Art. 11 – Diritti
Gli autori garantiscono di detenere i diritti delle opere presentate e autorizzano la proiezione nell’ambito del Festival.
Art. 12 – Accettazione del regolamento
La partecipazione al Festival implica l’accettazione integrale del presente regolamento e la privacy.

Article 1 – Purpose
These regulations govern participation in the Diversamente Film Festival, a film award dedicated to short films that address the themes of disability, inclusion, and the valorization of differences.
Article 2 – Promoter
The Festival is promoted by K-Antares APS.
Article 3 – Project Coordinator
The official project coordinator is Dr. Lorenzo Simonini.
Article 4 – Participation
Participation in the Festival is free and open to national and international productions.
Article 5 – Eligible Works
The following are eligible:
• Fiction short films
• Short documentaries
• Experimental works
• Animation
There are no genre or budget restrictions.
Art. 6 – Mandatory Requirements
• Works may, but are not required to, address disability-related issues.
• Works with universal or non-thematic narratives, in which disability is not a central element of the plot, are eligible.
• At least 50% of the leading and/or co-leading actors must be people with disabilities.
• Works must ensure a respectful, authentic, and non-stereotypical representation.
This article establishes the principle of normalizing the artistic presence of people with disabilities in cinema.
Art. 7 – Selection
All works will be subjected to a thorough and unquestionable selection process.
Only short films deemed suitable by the artistic direction and/or the selection committee will be screened during the Festival.
Art. 8 – Jury
The final evaluation will be entrusted to a jury composed of film industry professionals, inclusion experts, artists, and representatives of the cultural world.
Art. 9 – Evaluation Criteria
• Artistic and technical quality
• Consistency with the Festival's values
• Authenticity of the performance
• Originality and narrative impact
Art. 10 – Prizes
The prizes have no financial value but rather cultural, symbolic, and professional value.
The winners will receive a personalized prize.
Art. 11 – Rights
The authors guarantee that they hold the rights to the works submitted and authorize their screening at the Festival.
Art. 12 – Acceptance of the Rules
Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of these rules and privacy policy.
