D.L. Gardner is a novelist and screenwriter. She writes primarily in the fantasy genre including all sub genres, with a love for historical fantasy. She has written screenplays adapted from her novels and is currently working with filmmakers on a proof of concept short for her Ian's Realm Saga.

Best known for her project Ian 's Realm Saga, Cassandra’s Castle and Altered she has just completed a feature film screenplay for the magical realism novel Dylan.

Her screenplays have won numerous awards and screenings internationally.

She is also a columnist for the science fiction and fantasy publication Amazing Stories Magazine.
