Ian's Realm Teaser Trailer

An adventure fantasy following an unsuspecting teen as he enters a portal to another world and is thrust into conflict with dragon worshipers -- and an epic battle between good and evil.
A magical fantasy saga adapted from the screenwriter's award winning novels.

Ian's Realm Saga has been a passion project ever since I started writing the novel in 2011. The story came about from my observation of my grandsons struggling through their teens without the relationship of their fathers. Ian is a young man who, with his dad, accidentally creates a portal into a magical world, enters, and when his father disappears, he is made captive by dragon worshipers. True, it's a fantasy tale, but it also speaks strongly of the relationship between a boy and his father--feelings of abandonment and disappointment when Dad doesn't live up to Ian's expectations. It's a coming of age story proving that Ian can become the person he wished his father had been.

The story resonates both beauty and terror; wonder and dread; intrigue and disenchantment. Add to that a fiery dragon, a cranky wizard, a comical computer character come to life, and a boy struggling to become a man - you have the makings of what has become a rich and rewarding piece of family entertainment.

Director Biography - Chris Love

Raised in the south suburbs and the city of Chicago, Chris' love of entertainment was sparked by his father and uncle, who introduced him to the music industry at an early age.

Pursuing sports as a teenager, Chris began his college career playing football and basketball at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. In between sports and formal academic courses, Chris took theater performance classes as an elective. As Chris’ interests shifted towards music his sophomore year, he decided to transfer to Benedictine University in Naperville, Illinois to be closer to his hometown and the Chicago music scene.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Chris released his first independent album in October 2010 appropriately titled, “Love Muzik”. Chris not only provided vocal talent to this project, he also wrote and produced the entire album.

After this, Chris expanded his musical talents by working on projects that involved scores and soundtracks of films. It was here that Chris was introduced to the world of film- a world that has become his passion. Focusing on acting and directing, Chris has appeared on network television, most recently NBC's hit show Chicago PD as well as Fox's hip hop drama, 'Empire'.Not forgetting to mention the many independent feature films.
