Cinema no Estendal/ Cinema on the Washing Line is a cinema for the streets of Lisbon, in its 5th year and 8th edition. We celebrate the stairs, the washing lines, the neighbourhood life, the art and the underwear of the neighbours.

At the beginning and end of summer, short films and videos are projected on a washing line somewhere within the small neighbourhoods of Lisbon and on the washing lines of other towns around Portugal.

We want you to send us your work IF:

- you have made a film, a video OR any type of moving image piece;
- it’s your original work and you have the right to present it;
- it’s under 15 minutes;
- you would like to screen it on our Estendal / Washing line

Important Information:

Only projects submitted on FilmFreeway are considered.

Films not in English language must have English subtitles (Portuguese if possible but not mandatory)

No premiere requirements, films may already be available online.

You will be required to provide a HD .MOV or .MP4 of the selected film/video.

Selected films won't be uploaded online, unless the submitter gives prior permission, or it is already intentionally public.

Submitter grants us authorisation to include images, sounds, extracts and/or promotional material for our own promotional purposes.

When submitting submitter agrees they have read and understood all the terms and conditions, rules and guidelines before doing so.

Submitter agrees to screen their film in any extensions of the festival that might happen in other parts of Portugal.
