Chiaroscuro International Film Festival

Art. 1 - Filmmakers of any age, gender and nationality are invited to submit films. They can submit more than one work, but the payment of the submission fee is required for each film submitted.
Art. 2 - Any genre or subject is accepted. Every short film must include English/Italian subtitles (unless the spoken language is Italian).
Art. 3 - Entry fees are non-refundable.
Art. 4 - Entries are accepted exclusively through FilmFreeway.
Art. 5 - Short films must have been produced after January 1st, 2021.
Art. 6 - All filmmakers will be notified by email and directors whose short films have been selected are invited as participants.
Art. 7 - All winners, official selections and finalists will be contacted and receive laurels and certificates. Everything will also be listed on our website and social media.
Art. 8 - Short films must not exceed 20 minutes in length, including credits.
Art. 10 - Only the shorts films included in the Finalists' list will be screened.
Art. 11 - We can provide discount codes for distribution companies. To request, please contact us by email.
Art. 12 - There is no strict rule for premieres. All works are accepted, as long as they are not already available online.
Art. 13 - Chiaroscuro International Film Festival will not be held responsible for any unauthorized inclusion of any copyrighted and/or trademarked content or materials within or relating to the submitted project, including any content or materials that are or may become the basis for any Third Party Claim/s for copyright infringement and/or trademark infringement, trademark dilution or unfair competition. It’s the sole responsibility of the Submitter to secure permission from the rights holders of any and all copyrighted and/or trademarked content or materials included within the film.
Art. 14 - The Festival has the rights to utilize excerpts of it (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) for promotional purposes only. We won't make the short films available online.
Art. 15 - The Submitter grant full and unrestricted permission to Chiaroscuro to screen the film/video at the Festival.
Art. 16 - The Submitter accepts and understands that the Festival will do everything possible to present the short film in the best possible manner, but the Festival is not responsible for any malfunctions during the screening.
Art. 17 - The jury's decisions on the selected works are unquestionable and they cannot provide any feedback on the reasons for the outcome of the selections.
Art. 18 - By submitting your project you declare that you have read, understood and accepted all the Rules & Terms.

Art. 1 - Sono invitati a presentare film i registi di qualsiasi età, genere e nazionalità. Possono presentare più di un lavoro, ma è richiesto il pagamento dell’iscrizione per ogni cortometraggio presentato.
Art. 2 - È accettato qualsiasi genere o argomento. Ogni cortometraggio deve includere sottotitoli in inglese/italiano (a meno che la lingua parlata non sia l'italiano).
Art. 3 - Il costo di iscrizione non è rimborsabile.
Art. 4 - Le iscrizioni sono accettate esclusivamente tramite FilmFreeway.
Art. 5 - I cortometraggi devono essere stati prodotti dopo il 1° gennaio 2021.
Art. 6 - Tutti i registi saranno informati via e-mail e i registi dei cortometraggi selezionati sono invitati a partecipare.
Art. 7 - Tutti i vincitori, i selezionati e i finalisti saranno contattati e riceveranno i certificati. La comunicazione avverrà anche sul nostro sito web e sui social media.
Art. 8 - I cortometraggi non devono superare i 20 minuti, compresi i titoli di coda.
Art. 10 - Solo i cortometraggi inclusi nella lista dei Finalisti verranno proiettati.
Art. 11 - Forniamo codici sconto per le case di distribuzione. Per richiederli, potete contattarci via e-mail.
Art. 12 - Non ci sono regole per le anteprime. Tutti i lavori sono accettati, purché non siano già disponibili online.
Art. 13 - Il Chiaroscuro International Film Festival non sarà responsabile per l'inclusione non autorizzata di contenuti o materiali coperti da copyright e/o marchi registrati relativi al progetto presentato, compresi contenuti o materiali che sono o possono diventare la base di richieste di terzi per violazione del copyright e/o violazione del marchio o concorrenza sleale. È responsabilità esclusiva del Presentatore ottenere il permesso dai detentori dei diritti su qualsiasi contenuto o materiale coperto da copyright e/o marchio registrato incluso nel film.
Art. 14 - Il Festival ha il diritto di utilizzare estratti dei film (trailer/teaser/poster/foto) per scopi promozionali. In nessuna circostanza renderemo disponibile il vostro film online.
Art. 15 - I Submitter concedono il permesso completo e illimitato a Chiaroscuro di proiettare il film/video durante il Festival.
Art. 16 - Il Submitter accetta e comprende che il Festival farà il possibile per presentare il cortometraggio nel miglior modo possibile, ma non siamo responsabili per eventuali malfunzionamenti durante la proiezione.
Art. 17 - Le decisioni della Giuria sulle opere selezionate sono incontestabili e non devono fornire alcun feedback sulle ragioni dell'esito delle selezioni.
Art. 18 - Presentando il tuo progetto, dichiari di aver letto, compreso e accettato tutte le Regole e i Termini.
