El Festival Internacional Cámara Corporizada, dedicado a las danzas, rituales y expresiones culturales en la corporalidad, abre su convocatoria para su tercera edición, celebrando las culturas y diversidades del mundo. Se recibirán realizaciones en formato cortos y medios de cualquier parte del mundo, con especial énfasis en aquellas que presentan un enfoque contemporáneo e innovador.
El llamado está abierto para obras de videodanza, documental, ficción, videoclip, video performance, experimental, videoarte, ensayo visual, animación y sus hibridaciones..
El Festival Internacional Cámara Corporizada es un encuentro artístico bienal que navega en las aguas de expresiones populares, folklóricas, de raíz y tradicionales, en su confluencia con las nuevas tendencias narrativas y de representación audiovisual y performática con un enfoque en el cuerpo, el movimiento, la vivencia física.
CONCEPTO
Cada ser que mora en el mundo, se autopercibe como integrante de un espacio y una cultura. La experiencia es propia e intransferible, pero también es nutrida y compartida en la pertenencia territorial y simbólica. Por esa razón, desde Cámara Corporizada navegamos por el hondo mar de lo colectivo, autóctono y popular, desde una impronta personal, única, sin límites estéticos o narrativos. Creemos en un sincretismo artístico y experimental, a partir de propuestas innovadoras y contemporáneas de y sobre la cultura popular.
Pensamos el movimiento como una expresión de horizontes culturales y visiones del mundo encarnadas en el cuerpo. En las corporeidades bailan vidas, bailan respiraciones, bailan cosmogonías. El Universo baila y con él nosotros/as, en una cámara. Ese acto mágico y ritual de la expresión de la cultura popular, ese espíritu que mueve la cultura de los pueblos, se proyecta en una pantalla.
OBJETIVO DEL FESTIVAL
A través de diversidad de géneros y formatos, Cámara Corporizada reconocerá las diferentes culturas de cada territorio, con sus propias identidades, corporalidades y espiritualidades, tomando en cuenta la relación entre cultura, cuerpo y cámara, frente a toda manifestación que se encuadre dentro de las expresiones folklóricas, de raíz y populares del mundo (y del amplio abanico de expresiones: tradicionales, indígenas, matriz afro, danzas gitanas, sagradas, rituales, danzas de carnaval, murgas, comparsas, mascaradas, urbanas, etc.). Queremos potenciar la diversidad de voces, modos de hacer y representaciones, a través de miradas amplias, creativas, disruptivas, personales y colectivas.
El Festival es una iniciativa de la Plataforma Cámara Corporizada, un espacio de búsqueda, investigación, formación y experimentación sobre la videodanza, especialmente en aquellas expresiones danzarias de raíz folklórica y su cruce con el cine y el formato audiovisual. Declarado de Interés por el Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación Argentina en 2021 y 2023. Integra el Circuito Argentino de Videodanza - CAV y la Red Iberoamericana de Videodanza - REDIV.

The Camara Corporizada International Film Festival, dedicated to the dances, rituals and cultural expressions of the world, is open for submissions on its third edition. Join us to celebrate the cultures and diversities of the world! We will be receiving short and medium format from anywhere in the world, specially those with an innovative and contemporary focus.
We accept videodance, documentary, fiction, videoclip, video performance, experimental, videoart, visual essays, animation and all its hybridations.
The Camara Corporizada International Festival is a bi-annual artistic encounter that navigates the waters of popular, folkloric and traditional expressions in their confluence with new narrative, audiovisual and performative tendencies with a focus on the body, movement and physical experiences.
CONCEPT
Every being that exists in the world perceives themselves as a member of a space and culture. The experience is unique and intransferable, but it is also nurtured and shared in the territorial and symbolic belonging. For this reason, from Camara Corporizada we navigate the deep sea of that which is collective, local and popular, from a personal signature, without aesthetic or narrative limits. We believe in artistic and experimental syncretism, based on innovative and contemporary of and about popular culture.
We think of movement as a horizontal expression of cultures and visions of the world embodied. In the embodiment lives dance, breaths dance, worldviews dance. The Universe dances and we alongside it, on a camera. This magical, ritual act is the expression of popular culture, it’s the spirit that moves people’s cultures, being proyected on a screen.
FESTIVAL OBJECTIVE
Through a diversity of genres and formats, Cámara Corporizada will recognize the different cultures of each territory, with its own identities, corporalities and spiritualities, taking into account the relationship between culture, body and camera, before all manifestations that are framed within the popular and folkloric expressions of the world (and the wide array of expressions: traditional, indigenous, afro, gypsy, sacred, ritual, carnival, murga, comparsa, mascarades, urban, etc.) We want to potentiate the diversity of voices, ways of acting and representations, across wide views, creative, disruptive, personal and collective
The Festival is an initiative of the Camara Corporizada Platform, a space of searching, researching, training and experimentation of videodance, specially those expressions of folkloric roots and its intersection with film and its audiovisual format. Declared of Public Interest by the Ministry of Culture of Argentina in both 2021 and 2023. It integrates the Circuito Argentino de Videodanza (Argentinian Circuit of Videodance) - CAV and the Red Iberoamericana de Videodanza (Iberoamerican Network of Videodance) - REDIV
