4- Additional categories (Director, Cinematography, etc.) will be evaluated separately, so they will be considered as separate categories, any movie has the possibility of winning them.

6- BUEIFF doesn’t download data or accept Dropbox submissions. Please only send links to your media hosted on third-party servers, such as Vimeo or YouTube.

12d- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us, our officers, affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims and liability arising out of entering or transmitting your film or screenplay to the Buenos Aires International Film Festival (BUEIFF).

EVALUATION AND AWARDS:

1- If a film is selected, it may go through the following steps: Official Selection, Semi-Finalist, Finalist (nominees), and Winner. Films are evaluated only in the categories in which they were submitted, so each additional category requires a separate individual entry.
2- The winners meet the high level of excellence that the Festival seeks. Only films with this value will be able to carry the laurels of the BUEIFF winners, will receive their certificates, and will be able to request their trophies.
3- All-season winners in each category will be announced on the BUEIFF Press website and social media platforms.
4- The "Honorable Mention" is an extra distinction of the official competition. That is, in which the judges do not intervene, it is granted exclusively by the Festival directors. Here, the film that has distinguished itself from the others will be awarded, in its general aspect, concept, aesthetics, and/or particularly brilliant performance in its direction, photography, acting, and/or screenplay.

The Buenos Aires International Film Festival focuses on the emotional impact o f films. Where lesser festivals rely on sterile checklists and mechanistic criteria, measuring what can be counted but not what can be felt. The greatest festivals look beyond the surface. They recognize tFat true art cannot be reduced to formulas. They move past the eyes and ears, beyond technique and structure, and reach inward, gripping something deeper. These are films that are not merely watched, but experienced. These are films that linger, resonate, and echo long after the screen fades to black.

  • Working with the Buenos Aires International Film Festival was a truly memorable experience. The team’s professionalism and expertise were evident from the very beginning. They treated us—and our film—with genuine respect, making us feel that our work and our presence really mattered. It was clear they understood the commitment and passion that went into our project, and their attention to detail was exceptional. Thanks to their dedication, we felt like A-list filmmakers every step of the way. On behalf of myself and my team, thank you for making us feel so welcome and for delivering such an outstanding experience.
