BLUE2BLUE is an international film competition encouraging, promoting and celebrating the use of drones in film making.
Combining this exciting technology with your creativity and compelling story telling we’re stoked to be able to provide this platform for you to showcase your talents to the world.

CATEGORIES:

BLUE2BLUE Short Fiction Film: Original fiction film of any genre. 6 minutes total including title and credits.

BLUE2BLUE XTreme Sports Film: Original non-fiction short film featuring one (1) or more sports. 6 minutes total including title and credits.

BLUE2BLUE Documentary and/or News: Non-fiction film intended to document an aspect of reality, instruction, history or news. 6 minutes total including title and credits.

BLUE2BLUE Landscape, Design and Travel: Original film showcasing natural or man-made wonders of the world. 4 minutes total including title and credits.

2021 BEST FILM: DaVinci Resolve Studio software and the DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor. Total value AU$938

All applicants must submit through www.filmfreeway.com

Films entered into the festival must comply with the specifications for each category regarding duration and subject/theme.

25% of each entry film MUST BE shot using a drone (UAV) You must advise the time codings of the section/s or clip/s of the film shot with the drone and the type of drone and camera used.

By entering your film into the 2020 BLUE2BLUE Drone Film Festival you accept full legal responsibility for the intellectual property contained within your film and that you have cleared all contents of the film with the respective copyright holders prior to submission to the festival. By entering your work into this festival this constitutes permission to exhibit your work at the 2020 BLUE2BLUE Drone Film Festival.

It is the sole responsibility of the Applicant to secure authorization and permission from the copyright owner(s) of any and all copyrighted content or materials included within the submitted Film.

The BLUE2BLUE Drone Film Festival reserves the right to use segments of the film for promotional purposes, including but not limited to broadcast on TV or the internet.

By submitting to the 2021 BLUE2BLUE Drone Film Festival the entrant has agreed to the terms and conditions and the CUSTOM SUBMISSION QUESTIONS attached in this document..
