BFF, is looking for erotic, sensual short films created by and and or featuring Black & Brown cisgender, trans, and nonbinary women of color.

"The Vibe Showcase and exhibition on December 9, is programmed by Black & Brown Femme Films, offers an immersive experience for visitors to delve into the seductive lyrics, alluring dance moves, captivating art, cinema, and literature inspired by sensuality. It invites attendees to join in a celebratory journey, uncovering the rich tapestry of sensual culture rooted in the creative expressions of BIPOC women while reevaluating established notions along the way."

Awards & Prizes

At Black and Brown Femme Films, we don't believe in awards or contests. Instead, we provide a submission-free platform for BIPOC femme filmmakers to freely showcase their incredible works. Our mission is to celebrate and promote their talent, offering an inclusive space for their films to shine and reach audiences without any submission fees or competitive pressures.

Rules & Terms

*Filmmakers must be BIPOC.
*Filmmakers must identify as femme. Cisgender, trans, or non-binary.
*There are no restrictions on theme, genre, or techniques.
*Films must have been produced after 1/1/2017.
*Submissions in languages other than English must be subtitled in English.
*Submitters must own the rights of the submitted projects.
*The BFF Showcase has the rights to utilize excerpts (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) for promotional purposes only. Your movie will not be made available online.
*Short Films should be under 5 minutes.
*The BFF Showcase reserves the right to change the date and place of the event.
*The BFF retain the discretion to make adjustments to the program.
