  • I was very pleased to have my short film 'Roses' awarded for Best Student Film! The communication was flawless and the staff I emailed were very kind and extremely helpful, as I couldn't attend the event in person. I would highly recommend this festival to new and first time filmmakers.

A wonderful film festival in the beautiful town of Benalla. Overall, had a nice community feel to it, top film selection, and presented in a great modern venue. The festival was part of the overall Benalla festival, so there was plenty of other things to see and do over the weekend - it's fantastic to see quality events like this happening in rural communities. The organisers couldn't have been nicer and everyone went out of their way to be as hospitable as possible. Recommended.
