Behdad Esfahbod is an Iranian–Canadian experimental filmmaker and artist based in Edmonton. Their award-winning shorts MANIA and Eternal Presence have screened internationally, including at the Berlin Kiez Film Festival and the Little Venice Film Festival. Blending poetic minimalism with psychological depth, their work explores mental health, gender fluidity, and transformation. Behdad is also a software engineer and co-producer of films by Mania Akbari.
