A three-day festival celebrating sport, outdoor culture and adventure documentary films with special emphasis on stories from Western Pennsylvania, Northern Appalachia and the Mid-Atlantic region.

Hosted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the historic Harris Theater, we aim to showcase athletes, teams and outdoor clubs alongside the passionate filmmakers telling these stories locally and nationally.

**Mission of Allegheny Sport + Outdoor Film Festival**

1) Reorient the sports narrative in Rust Belt towns, like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo, that define sport as being a rabid fan of the Steelers, Browns, Bills and the other professional sports teams.

2) Re-orient the narrative that Appalachia and the Midwest is a place of outdoor adventure and sport not only reserved for the mountain playgrounds and curators of outdoor film festivals, such as Colorado, Utah and California. We too play outside.

3) Showcase conservation and environmental films made in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio highlighting the clean-up efforts of dedicated citizens and communities in steel and coal country.

Thanks so much for participating, Luke. We loved having both Survive to Drive and Richard Hamilton documentary screening at Harris. It was great hearing about the films and your creative process in the Q & A's afterward. Look forward to seeing your next projects!
