Was born on September 10, 1993 in the city of Recife, located in the state of Pernambuco, in northeastern Brazil. He is the son of Auzi Gomes, ex-vigilante retired and of Josileide Veríssimo, domestic since its youth. Alcimar gained this name by inspiration in the singer of forró 'Alcymar Monteiro', of which his father was fan.
He has performed at national and international festivals since 2018, but has acquired interest in the seventh art in 2011, still in high school, when he witnessed the production of a film prepared by the direction of his school, failing to have good marks in the matter of history, which caused his teacher to remove his name from the list of producing pupils. Since then, his life mission would be to watch a film of his own being shown on the screen of Cinema São Luiz, where the film produced by the other students of the school was shown.
Alcimar was involved with photography and content creation from 2012, after joining the Brazilian Army and moved to Recife-Pe, knowing a world that went beyond the small town of Igarassu in Pernambuco and other people with the same interest in art. He won international photography competitions that took him to Barcelona, Spain and exhibited his photographs in museums with the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) in São Paulo. Participated in exhibitions developed by Instagram / Facebook in Brasilia and acted as creator of content / Digital influence for companies like Motorola, Ibis, Reserva, Instagram, Jaguar and OtterBox.
Alcimar also developed activities as a writer, concluding 3 literary works (the previous life of Ash Cobalt, Looping and the first love of an artist), all in the year of 2017.
In 2018, with the help of friends, Alcimar wrote, directed and produced his first short film, "Something About Me," which tells the story of a lonely writer who sees his life change after completing a work about someone quite different from him .
