The Amber International Film Festival (AIFF) is an annual international film festival held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The festival takes its name from Amber Fort, the ancient citadel that has stood in the hills above Jaipur for over six centuries. Like that fort, AIFF was built slowly, with intention, and with the belief that meaningful cinema endures.
Now in its 11th edition (formerly known as Jaipur Film World for its first decade), AIFF has screened films from across India and the world in Jaipur - accepting feature fiction, documentary, short film and animation film.
We welcome World, Asian and Indian premieres.
Our principle has never changed: अच्छा सिनेमा, सार्थक सिनेमा - good cinema, meaningful cinema.
We are not looking for films that are technically perfect. We are looking for films that have something to say.
Beyond the annual festival, AIFF runs The AIFF Show - a free monthly public screening series that has completed 10 seasons since 2017. Every month, in Jaipur, we screen a film and open a conversation. This is who we are when the festival is not running.
Selected filmmakers receive invitations to the festival, screening documentation, and certificates of selection and award.
Jaipur is one of India's most connected cities with direct flights from Delhi (45 minutes), Mumbai, and international connections through major hubs. The Pink City's cultural infrastructure, accommodation, and accessibility make it a natural home for an international film festival.
Managed by AIFF Team, Jaipur.
Festival Director: Subhash Kumawat.

AIFF believes that the celebration of good cinema does not require trophies or competition. We screen films because they deserve to be seen, not because they need to compete with each other.
