PLEASE READ THE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES BEFORE SUBMITTING. ONLY FILMS SHOT ON SMARTPHONES/TABLETS OR WEBCAMS WILL BE REVIEWED.

The Following Are Not Acceptable:

DSLR cameras, compact cameras, or hybrid cameras

What Is Allowed:

Films must be 70% or more shot on smartphones, tablets, or webcams.
Use of additional equipment, whether professional or homemade (such as external microphones, wide-angle lenses, lights, etc.) is allowed.
Any editing software, as well as color correction or special effects, is allowed.
AI-generated films are acceptable.

Language Requirements:
All foreign submissions containing spoken languages other than English must be subtitled in English.

Copyright:
Copyrighted materials are not acceptable unless you have written permission for their use. ASIFF is not liable for any copyright materials unlawfully used.
The film must be an original production. It may not infringe on the copyright, trademark, or other rights of any organization.

Behind-the-scenes Materials:
Film submissions must include two or more behind-the-scenes photos and/or videos.
By submitting, the applicant grants ASIFF perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive rights to use, publish, reproduce, screen, modify, broadcast, and distribute these behind-the-scenes materials, along with the names of the film, filmmakers, cast, and crew, for any purpose without compensation.

Screening Rights:
By submitting your film, you grant ASIFF the non-exclusive right to screen your film during the festival, and at any subsequent events or other activities hosted or endorsed by ASIFF, including digital platforms, for the purpose of promoting or showcasing the film as part of ASIFF's official programming. This includes but is not limited to screenings at ASIFF, promotional events, online streaming, and use in promotional materials.
