Adrián Alarcón is a mexican actor, director and producer. He is an intern in the Master’s degree in Cinematography at the Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México and holds a Bachellor’s degree in Communication by the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey. He coursed the Acting Shakespeare program at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (London).
He has co-directed stage plays Waiting for Godot and Richard III for the Penitentiary Theatre Company, which was featured at Mexico’s 39th National Theatre Festival. He has produced 7 plays and performed at 23 others, being twice awarded by the Mexican Critic’s Association ACPT. He is also known for his work as an actor on film, series, tv and commercials.
"To be taken away by the sea" is his first film as Director, Producer and Screenwriter.
