A friend of mine told me he wanted to commit suicide. It didn’t happen.
As a child, I tried to commit suicide. It didn’t happen.
Every 40 seconds, someone in the world commits suicide.
I've made this film because I believe we have to speak openly about this subject for means of prevention, but I also believe we also have to respect those who choose to go and procede. I wish for them to go in peace.
Through this film, I aim to allow our spectators to face themselves with uncertainty.
It should not be easy for them to take a stand on our character’s choices and actions. They should be allowed to question themselves and debate internally on their ideas and preconceptions around suicide. And we aim to achieve this by presenting our story wrapped with audiovisual beauty, delivering an experience that is both aesthetic and confrontational.
