Zensa Media International Film Festival prides itself on promoting local and international talent. We are looking for short films that inspire, educate and entertain general audiences. Local and international filmmakers may apply for all categories with the exception of the Quebecois Cinema category that is a spotlight category for local filmmakers. .
Films must be suitable for a general audience and must not contain any inappropriate content that may not be suitable for younger audience members.
We are accepting short films, short documentaries and feature films (various themes). We also have a few special theme categories: Environment, fashion, comedy, food, dance, sports, documentary, short film (various themes), music videos and film trailers. For the first time, we also created a new additional category for provincial Quebecois filmmakers that have a bilingual or francophone film to promote le Cinema Quebecois.
An audience choice award will also be given to their favorite film.
This will be a fun event with an opportunity for the public to watch films from around the globe and a great networking event for filmmakers. We will also have our much appreciated audience raffle later in the evening at our film festival.
Our second event for our festival is our yearly Media Panel with well known professionals and artists who work in the media industry. Media panel will be online and tickets available October 25th, 2023. Our panelists for our upcoming 6th edition film festival will be announced later this summer.
