Yue Hua/华越 is a multimedia artist, filmmaker, and educator based in Boston, specializing in experimental film and expanded cinema.

Her strong personal films are characterized by direct animation on celluloid film, film collage, and flicking editing. Most recently she has been focused on creating mind-wandering experiences through expanded cinema. By choreography multiple projectors, constantly changing film loops and applying prism and filters to monitor light, she tries to expand consciousness and create a liminal space to engulf the viewer in an unrecognizable mental experience. She is willing to share her knowledge of filmmaking and establish connections with artists and creators from around the globe.
