The Annual Youth Diversity Film Festival for Middle and High School students is presented by Robert McCeune, Director of the BHERC Youth Diversity Film Festival. These aspiring young filmmakers study their craft at organizations and schools across the globe.

BHERC is proud to spotlight shorts created by diverse youth. These film screenings and panel dialogues are an opportunity for emerging young directors to showcase their skills, talent and vision, while giving the audience a chance to view and discuss the artistry, passion and sacrifice involved in the independent film making process.

Films must be by youth and range from 1-60 minutes to qualify.

Our students loved attending the Youth Diversity Film Festival! Showing the films at the lovely Regal LA Live, with red carpet press and panels with industry professionals made this a perfect first-time experience for our young filmmakers. Highly recommended for any high school filmmakers.

Unfortunately I couldn’t make it in person due to outside circumstances but very grateful to have my film screened! All the other film selections were great and from what I saw online it seemed like they gave good opportunities for a diverse group of young filmmakers to speak about their films, especially for free. Great opportunity!
