Young Hearts Film Festival 2026 has come to an end.

There were films from Poland and from around the world. There were funny, difficult, moving and sometimes uncomfortable stories. There were films created by young filmmakers and films made during our workshops.

There was courage, sensitivity, imagination and a powerful need to tell stories about the world in your own way.

The jury faced a truly difficult task. From all the films submitted to the competition, they selected the winners of Young Hearts Film Festival 2026.

But we also want to say something very important to those whose names did not appear on the list of winners this time.

Keep creating.

Keep filming, editing, writing, experimenting, making mistakes and starting again. Show the world what is in your minds and hearts.

Competitions have their rules. The jury has to make choices. But filmmaking is something much bigger than a single award.

Every completed film is an achievement.

Every attempt teaches you something.

Every story you tell brings you closer to the next one, which you may tell even better.

Young Hearts Film Festival was created precisely to give young people a space to tell their own stories. A place where they can experiment, search for their own language, meet other filmmakers and discover that their voices truly matter.

Thank you to all the young filmmakers for the films you submitted.

Thank you for your courage, honesty, imagination and emotions, and for allowing us, for a moment, to see the world through your eyes.

We would also like to thank everyone who came to Ińsko and joined us for the final gala.

You created an incredible atmosphere.

And perhaps that was the moment when we could feel most strongly what Young Hearts truly is.

It is not just a film competition.

It is a meeting of people who love cinema. Youth. Emotions. Art. And real stories.

Young Hearts Film Festival is an international film festival dedicated to young filmmakers and emerging creative voices. The festival focuses on film as a tool for expression, personal development and dialogue, giving space to authentic stories told by young people.

The 3rd edition of Young Hearts Film Festival will take place July 3–5, 2026, and will include film screenings, intensive film workshops, meetings with creators, as well as accompanying events such as improvised theatre performances, concerts and exhibitions showcasing young talents.

An important part of the festival is the creative process itself. The programme includes pre-festival film workshops held in several cities, as well as five-day main film workshops during the festival, where participants work on their ideas, films and creative skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.

Young Hearts Film Festival is a space for learning, creativity and courage to tell your own story. We welcome films created by young authors who want to share their perspective and take part in a meaningful artistic experience.
