XL Fest

The XL Film Fest was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The festival provided a fantastic platform for filmmakers to showcase their work, with well-organized screenings and engaging Q&A sessions. The energy and support from the community were truly inspiring. The festival team was professional, accommodating, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I highly recommend XL Film Fest to any filmmaker looking for a dynamic and supportive environment to share their stories.

Our team is so grateful for XL Film Festival screening our short, Kinnected. It was well organized with some amazing panels. Our moderator for our block said this was probably the best block he’s ever seen in his life, and I have to agree! Every film I saw was competitive and pushed the envelope artistically, and I am so happy we were able to fly to Chicago and experience the magic of it all. Even when things didn’t go as planned, such as unexpected rain, the XL Film Fest team handled it professionally and expeditiously. This fest was one for the books, and I highly recommend any film lovers to attend or submit their film.

Unfortunately we were not able to participate in the festival in person. But the communication from the festival team was great and we wish we could have participated in the screenings which were sold out and all the great events they organized!
